Yes, and keep it there please.

Mine is still 'Banter'. it is like you have permission to be insulting, if you say it is banter.
I dunno Kovacs, it used to bother me when everyone called me a total prick, so I'm really happy now that it can be lauded as epic bantz
Google maps, when I'm viewing directions to my next site on my work tablet in landscape orientation. It shows the route and the time, but NOT the distance. It was only a few weeks ago that I discovered it shows the mileage if it's in portrait orientation. I need to know the mileage to record my ETA, when I show that I'm on route to my next call, but generally I much prefer to use my tablet in landscape orientation.
Similarly, but conversely, I use the myFitnessPal app, not only in a vain attempt to keep within my recommended daily calorie limit, but also to add up the amount of carbohydrates in a meal, so I can work out how much insulin I need to inject. But the diary view only shows carbs in landscape orientation, so I have to turn my phone around. It's the tiniest of petty irritations, but it's always there.
My kids seem to always take their shoes off but leave them left on right and right on left side... HHHHHNNNNNNNGGGGNNNNNN

...I always have to switch them :(

There's a guy here who can't bare switches being on if there's no plug in them.

Naturally, I leave switches on all the time.
I got bare switches, bruv.

I am the same.
People who turn things off at the plug are the worst

Hang on... Do you leave them on or are you not able to stand them being left on?

I don't like them being on when there's no plug in them. I'll always turn them off too.

MrsA has taken this to the extreme by plugging the Alexa into the socket controlled by the Alexa and the ordering it off. Then complains the lights no longer function.

This sounds like a certain way to end up with a full-on, HAL-from-2001 style Alexa break down on your hands. What will you do when she refuses to turn off the socket?

Sing 'Daisy, daisy' and wait for your untimely end.

I’m like this, but only in large open rooms for some odd reason. If the socket is hidden from some angles by furniture or what have you I don’t care about it, but if it’s always visible, I’ve got to switch it off.

Jem likes to wind me up at our TKD lessons by switching back on the sockets that I switch off during our warm-up run around the room.
Grated cheese sandwiches.
Is it perhaps beard related?
Both beard and soup related.

Soup?

How so?
I like to dip my cheese sandwiches in soup. You can imagine the problems if it's grated cheese, the cheese doesn't stay on the sandwich.
Toast them and the issue is fixed
How the hell are a toasted beard and toasted soup going to help?!
How do you get soup in the toaster?

Swiftly.

Grated cheese tastes nicer tho.

Now, you see... I used to think this but now I'm not convinced. The inconvenience outweighs the taste.
That's not a thing that makes it taste worse!
Grim... wrote:

Does it tase better because it's grated, or is it different cheese that's grated ... IYSWIM.\

Or, to ask a different question, if you have a block of cheese and grate some of it, and slice some of it, do slices tase different to gratings?
When your finger gets in the way they do.
