Wow wow wow wow wow
I’ve read worse reviews...
Absolutely stunning cinematography. I'm still thinking about it now.
I’ve seen it twice. I’m thinking about it even more now than after the first viewing.
[/edit] Actually, all, and I mean ALL you lazy motherfuckers who haven’t seen this yet, including the ones who don’t like, or don’t get the original, need to see this, so we can ALL talk about it.

It is, isn't it? Beautiful.
Someone asked me to describe the film in five words and I simply said "Roger Deakins deserves the Oscar."
What a weird thing to ask someone.

Can you explain in five words why it's weird?

Well, it was during a discussion about the film with a group of others, it wasn't just out of the blue :P

Pausing completely wrong. 2/5
No unicorns no deal.
My review of Blade Runner: Visually stunning, sound was fab, story was alright but left plenty to think about, sex robot was groovy and I want a sex robot please, Ryan Gosling was excellent as usual (although absolutely fitting for this story I’d like him to do some films which push him outside his usual muted cakehole), Harrison Ford was not very good, the disco scene turned me into an epileptic, Terminator was fucking kick ass and should be the new Terminator, it was too long, some long drawn out scenes looking at things that should have been cut (one shot just looking at a picture with no one reacting went on for a sodding lifetime) and the first scene with the woman in the glass case was absolutely superb.

But the worst thing about the entire film was Morgan from The Walking Dead with the garbage people made me think of nothing else but Morgan from The Walking Dead with the stupid fucking garbage people. Stupid fucking garbage people.
I watched this last night and it's fantastic, I also DISAGREE with nearly all of the criticisms above.

When I saw it was 2h43m long I was like, 'Bollocks, this'll be a two-nighter then', but it's so damn good there's no way you're turning it off halfway through and returning for a second leg the next day.

Yes there are a lot of slow, long shots - but they're unceasingly beautiful so no complaints from me in that regard.

I thought Hazzer was pretty good too.

The only thing that drove me crazy about it is who was playing one of the prossies, to the extent I had to pause the film and Google it, turns out it's Mackenzie Davis who played Yorkie in 'San Junipero'.

Actually I thought Jared Leto wasn't particularly good as the baddie, but he wasn't dreadful or anything.
