A picture of my home desk.
Quid pro quo. Clarice.

Here's a picture of my home office. Perhaps you could also share. Perhaps you won't. Who knows. Not me. Or Poirot.
I will share mine tomorrow. I put an old one on Flickr though, with tags and everything!

Here it is: https://www.flickr.com/photos/grim/3718 ... SoLx-jGBsY

I really need to tidy up. The photo features -
- Dust. Lots of dust
- Pile of empty game cases that I keep handy
- GBA and Game Theory Admiral for testing carts
- A repurposed Galaxy Note 1. I upgraded it to Nougat and just have it running Google Analytics
- Toad reflected in the monitor
Here's mine... Probably sideways.
Definitely needs cleaning and tidying
The Russian posters look cool. Where'd you get them?
These are all far too tidy.

The science museum in London had a cosmonauts exhibition a year or so back. They had all kinds of cool stuff in the gift shop.

Just because they don't have steering wheels, pedals, VR cables gear sticks, naked people and everything else found on your desk...

My back is going into spasm just looking at that ergonomic torture device of a desk setup!
My uninspiring pit. Really should get some pictures up.
Room more than desk, and tidier than it ever normally is. Buy my house.

Zardoz is winning so far... and has inspired me to tidy up tonight.

Winnar!

Though I must say Grim's would have afforded a pretty awesome view for playing games deep into the night.
My "desk" AKA living room table:

Who do you keep in the little room, Z?
People who ask questions.
It's actually a storage space that runs the full length of the house, so all our Christmas decorations, suitcases, TV / computer / hi-fi boxes.

Has anyone seen the Doc lately?

If you work there for a decent period of time I would suggest not.

Use Gaz's massive desk. :P
Work here for most of the week between 9-3 and some evenings and weekends... so it's definitely more a desk than a living room table ;)

I did use Gaz's desk for a little bit after we built it but he clutters it up with shit which I got fed up of moving:

In his defence, the Wii controller under the left hand side is mine - it must have fallen out of the cupboard.
Most of you are animals! How can you all bear to work surrounded by such a metric fuckton of clutter?! Brrr.

That's the secret. I don't work. I sit there staring into space, thinking about what game I can play. Before I know it it's bed time so then all that thinking disappears and can come back another day.

2 of my kids have that desk!, That's about as tidy as theirs are!, my desk area is a bit odd atm, comprised of a dining table, square school desk, 2 sets of drawers (one wooden, one plastic) and a 2 seater leather sofa.. Pic to follow.
Where are the Pepsi max cans?

EDIT: @Grim...

EDIT EDIT: Oh there they are.

Ah, the wheels of capitalism turning late into the night. Could you see South Quay Plaza? I used to work there many years ago.

I now want more monitors.
Christ alive Malc. Are you nesting?
DavPaz wrote:

You do!

Nothing's plugged into it, but you're technically correct!
Fucking hell, Malc. Do you sleep there too?
Lonewolves wrote:

I imagine so. It looks like once you get in there, you won't be able to get out again very easily.
Kern wrote:

:this: I feel like such a peasant only having one.
I only have one monitor. Not that I use it most of the time. ;)
