Pokemon Go
Gotta catch 'em all

...run out of pokeballs... :( keep hitting up pokestops and getting a measly one.
Bloody hell, I've got hundreds. It helps that I go past about 30 pokestops on my way to work, I guess.
I have to delete pokeballs on the regular, as my backpack is full of them!
Fuck Nintendo.

Snare real animals in parks then make them fight in a wheelie bin.

Still working on the Pokevolving.

There's definitely a lot missing from this. Friends is obvious, and the other thing is some sort of feedback on absent gym status. Tell me when my gym's been attacked, stuff like that.
Do you want to see the team logos animated? Of course you do.

My game did not require all permissions from Googke, for some reason. I don't know why. I had s look and it doesn't seem to be everyone...

I went to the Suoermarket today and went past a few pokestops
I have run out of Pokeballs :((
Permissions thing is now totally fixed, I think.

And in other news that is likely of interest only to me, the Android version works on Nougat now.
Is it out in the UK yet?
Not yet.

I saw a lad on his way to uni, playing outside my window. That's definitely what he was doing, by the way he was standing there, and once caught wandered off again.
I wonder if they'll "reset the UK" when it's actually released. I rather hope they do.

I'd be very surprised if they did, there would be an uproar.
Shhhh...

Actually, I wouldn't mind that.

Get rid of a load of keen users for an app that makes money through IAPs? Yeah, that'll happen.
Grim... wrote:

No. Obviously I just used my magic powers. You can grab the APK from somewhere and sideload it, although be wary of ones on dodgy sites that have been infected with malware.
NO POKEBALLS!!

Amazed you've managed this, I have hundreds. Visit more Pokestops.
Poorly baby, poorly Mimi. Stuck indoors.

I need someone to build a pokestop in the garden.

I suspect they'll also be one if they don't.

I mean, you're not supposed to be playing it yet.

This sounds like something that could be fixed by drones. Remote Pokemon Go!

What if you just landed from the US and you have a legitimate install? Using a US iTunes account on an iPhone that's currently in the UK isn't breaking any terms of service, it's completely normal and supported.

Niantic could have chosen to block the game at the database level, ie. hide all the Pokestops and gyms in the UK. But it didn't. Having made that choice, it has to move forward with it, I think.
They don't strike me as being the most forward-thinking folk, if their permissions coding is anything to go by :)

Assuming it's not months away, it's not like new players are exactly going to be struggling to catch up, I don't think.
I caved in and got it.

The Rolls Royce solution is a hardware GPS spoofer, of course.

I have information about that! ...which I cannot tell you.

You are literally the worst source.

Do you know how to keep a secret?
Publicly viewable forums are perhaps not the best place for sharing information.

Jolly August barbecues with fire crazed lunatics running around burning everything...

Don't tell curious geeks on the internet that you have a secret?
The illuminati are behind all this, you mark my words. It's like an episode of Dr. Who, with all the population wandering around, gaze fixed on their smartphones oblivious to the planet going to wrack and ruin around them.

No, he literally had the best source. Don't you remember? It beat your source at the BeexBQ a few years ago.

Because yours wasn't as good.

Don't you remember? You came second.

I'm surprised you don't remember, because you came second and Gaywood came first.

Because his was the best source.

Shows in both iOS and Android App Stores for me. I'm resisting installing it for now though.

Is it actually quicker to post here and wait for an answer than open App Store on your phone and look?

Well I opened App Store and the US one is there not the UK one

Wanted to check before i deleted it.
This appears to be quite a big thing over here already, saw 6 or 7 groups of people doing Pokemon catching on my walk from my car back to the office.

Apparently there is a well-guarded gym at a local bank.

Mrs Hearthly has got it installed on her phone for when Jnr gets back from school, she was talking about it yesterday, 'Daddy, are you aware that a new Pokemon game is being released?'
Apparently if you throw a pokeballs and miss, you can quickly tap it to pick it back up. If I'd known this earlier I might have some pokeballs left. Flip sticks
