Also, I don't really like Olsen as Scarlet Witch.

They’re all boring?

I can see some Marvel exec going “Their love for one another is their kryptonite.” Cue tens of episodes where one gets captured/hurt putting the other in contrived danger.
The whole season should be 5 minutes of them storming in and fucking shit up, solving whatever the issues is, then roll credits.

:this:
I would like to see Vision and SW just letting go and fucking shit up. Like the bit with Vader in Rogue One.
The comics version of Scarlet Witch has been interesting at times due to mental illness making her a massively powerful liability; something that came to the fore in the House of M storyline. Unless they're going to set all that up though then yeah, the movie incarnation isn't currently interesting enough to make much of I don't think.

Similarly The Vision has only ever caught my attention in the short recent-ish run of his solo series which saw him create a family for himself in order to try and experience a more 'normal' human life. This went off the rails of course and ended with some pretty dark domestic-level shit that was a really unexpected use of such a powerful character. Again though they're not going to do that with the film version and it wouldn't work with that incarnation of the character anyway.

I'm totally down for a Loki series though, that has the potential to be brilliant given how great some of his solo comics stuff has been over the years.
They’re definitely amongst my least favourite Avengers.

This makes for a confusing read when you forget you're in the Marvel thread.

That never even occurred to me! :DD

Other known series will focus on Loki, the god of mischief played by Tom Hiddleston

Yessss, that could be a lot of fun :D

He managed to turn his pie skit into a series? Good going.

Harsh.

Looks pretty good, also looks to have potential spoilers for Avengers End game, so it's a bit odd releasing the trailer now imo.

That's not a valid British registration number.

This one is a bit different.

Isn’t it a timeless one? Pre-1970.
Giant swirling formless mass of CGI monster villain...FACKING YAWN.

Nope, they were three letters and three numbers, and before that two letters and four numbers.

Irish ones are three letters and four numbers which is the opposite way round.

And before that...

Do I need to have seen the first two Spider-Man 2s to understand the third one?

It's close to a Northern Ireland plate, which are up to four numbers and then three letters (or vice versa) - but "SEP" isn't a valid three letter combination on those as far as I know.

It'll be a GFX artist sticking their initials in.

So, who is Molten Man?
I know it's kinda cool to not be excited by stuff these days but... FUCK YES! CAN'T WAIT!
That shake when Cap is putting his shield on.

Hell of a trailer. Real sombre vibes.

He got better.
Looks like one of the writers from Rick & Morty is the showrunner on the Loki series

"Sources say the show will follow Loki as the trickster and shape-shifter pops up throughout human history as an unlikely influencer on historical events."

Captain Marvel was solid stuff. It wasn't spectacular, but it was enjoyable enough.

Young Fury was perfect, and there were some solid laughs. Carol is fuck hard, too - as the boy said as the film finished "oh man, Thanos is dead."

The "Thanks, Stan" moment was lovely, too.
I agree. That "people younger than they are" thing is getting better and less intrusive, Stan was a big highlight and very beautiful, and Captain working her way through a frigate was very good. There was one other big laugh (I forget what) and a few smaller ones. Otherwise it was a bit of a squashed together thing - there were a few scenes where I thought, yeah, I see what you mean, and what the story is here, but I bet you filmed it originally, and have cut it. It would be better with 5-10 minutes more early on, to flesh those scenes out a bit.

But good enough.
Really enjoyed Captain Marvel.

Brie Larson has the best facial expressions, and it was a great mix of comedy and action.
My top 5 MCU movies:

1: Thor: Ragnarok
2: Captain Marvel
3: GotG
4: The Avengers
5: Black Panther

I enjoyed it that much. The action was spot on, the humour was great, and it was just great watching Captain Marvel just throw down. It brought to mind the 'Immigrant Song' bits of Ragnarok in the catharsis factor.
She got to #8 in my list:

1. Civil War
2. Guardians 1
3. Avengers 1
4. Thor: Raggy
5. Guardians 2
6. Infinity War
7. Iron Man
8. Captain Marvel
TBH, Civil War doesn't get in my top ten. But then my favourite Iron Man movie is number 3. Which I feel is hated because of what it wasn't, not what it was.
Captain Marvel. First third was a jumbled mess, which I know was the intention, but that doesn't mean it works as a film. Second third was really good, final third was excellent.
Brie Larson was great in the role, really liked her, and Samuel L was let loose more than usual and was very engaging and amusing. The youngyfiying is spooky good.

Now I'm used to OLED HDR 4k goodness, it really shows up how bad cinemas are these days, I was watching on the main screen in 4k in my local multiplex, and the quality was just utter shite. Good sound but shocking washed out low definition image. I'd happily pay a tenner to watch it at home if that was possible, rather than the fiver of my local multiplex.
Low definition 4K is what, exactly?

Blurred and washed out.
We saw How to Train Your Dragon 3 recently and the picture was *stunning*. Large screen in a small cinema. It was the Light at New Brighton.

So now you know
There's a new Vue cinema in Bedford and the picture there is superb, especially compared to the shitty old ciniworld up the road.

£10 for popcorn and a drink, though!
We had a new vue open (4 years late) a mile away just after Christmas. All seats are recliners and have built in tables and cup holder and the picture and sound quality is best I’ve seen. Plus, as it opened they closed the old shitty cinema and they’re turning that into a picture house.

To add to my glee, we get a free ticket each every week with our health insurance so give a fuck how much popcorn costs.
My local is a Vue and it is shite quality.
Seats are nice though. I used to think it was ok until I saw the glory of OLED :)

Vitality high five! Never redeem the Starbucks though.
I want in on the Vitality high five! They pay for my Amazon Prime, too.

Vitality high five! Unfortunately my company doesn't support the Prime offer, or the Apple Watch offer.

I am very much looking forward to CIAL TRA
I kinda love that they haven’t shown a single bad guy in the trailers.
I know there's a lot of people that don't like the MCU films, and the effect it's had on cinema as a whole, but I'm *so* looking forward to this.

We went to see Captain Marvel last night which I thoroughly enjoyed (She's an awesome character with a perfect smile) and I was pleasantly surprised that it didn't turn out the way I expected.
These films have been something that we've always enjoyed together and it's built to what I hope will be a fitting conclusion.

What if... what if the trailer is full of the bad guys?
