I do worry that people aren't getting that Rick is a massive cunt, and sure he kicks ass, but he's not supposed to be a hero.

People were rooting for Walter White, soooo...

There's a lot of terrible neckbeardery going around about the show in general and yeah, loads of people not getting the point at all.
I am almost through season one. It has hits and misses. The episode that is just them improvising tv ads for the entire time is odd.

My favourite line so far is:

"I'm Mister Crowbar, and this is my friend... who is also a crowbar."

Also that was my favourite episode so far.

Why you gotta be hatin' on Ants In Your Eyes Johnson?
You've made me want to watch Ren and Stimpy again now.

I didn't find that whole segment in any way funny.
maybe you should remove the ants from your eyes
It was scarily reminiscent of some of the writing that a friend of mine used to do back in my writing days. I knew he should have stuck with it and not become a teacher!
I thought "Morty's Mindblowers" was better than the interdimensional cable ones.
It's slick, clever and funny, and uses scifi elements to good effect. It's right up my alley, humour-wise. It doesn't mean I think Rick is some kind of awesome guy though. He is a deeply flawed character, but usually comes good eventually.
It's a bit like when people used to cheer on Alf Garnett's racism. Except now, thanks to the wondrous improvements to all of society brought to us by the internet, they can make themselves heard.
I sent you a PM about that a couple of weeks ago and you flat out ignored me!
Okay, so I totally didn't send it, but still!

I'm finding this pretty hard to listen to. I agree with most of what they're saying, but Jesus Christ Harmon needs to shut the fuck up and let Goa speak!
Season 4 has started!

The first episode is pretty good.

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Teddy Bear Rick "nope"ing out was great, and the sci-fi weapons were fucking awesome
I don’t care for the new intro: it doesn’t go with the music as well.
Fin.

It was pretty good.

Wasp dinner was hilarious
Episode 2 was pretty good. Jerry is as great as ever. The last two episodes have had a manic pace about them, which I like, but it no longer feels as fresh as the first couple of seasons. The audience will eventually tire of just random meaningless adventures; it needs to get back to a common story now. Maybe next week, aye...that’d be good.

The first episode covered this is some detail :)
I thunked last night's episode was particularly good.
You e all probably seen this by now but this Lone Wolf & Babycart/Ninja Scrolls homage is fucking great.

New Rick and Morty is some proper brain-warping stuff.

Oh that’s what they were saying. Ta
The Adult Swim online version is uncensored.
Or the Amazon sourced naughty p2p versh.
Just watched it again on E4. Cum gutters is censored in the episode but isn’t censored in the post-credits. Just thought I’d point it out. Cheers.
It's back, and it's back strong. I love Mr Nimbus.
I have skipped past this on Netflix so many times and thought 'one day, I'll watch this' but then ended up going with BoJack Horseman for my adult animation series fix.

I think I'll take a few more weeks break, because at the moment I just can't muster up the enthusiasm to commit to anything long again, especially something zany and wacky but then after that I'll give Rick and Morty a go.
Bojack is also fucking superb, and apart from a few similarities between Bojack and Rick is a completely different show. We've got a thread somewhere so I won't go on about it too much.
I have to say that Bojack left me feeling pretty wrung-out, partially because of how fantastic it was but also how heavy it was in places too. Watching all of the series in quick succession was kind of exhausting. A good exhausting, mind.

Something rather different may be a bit of a palate cleanser but I still need to muster the enthusiasm to get stuck in.
