That leaves 30 minutes for something to come up to prevent me coming, of course. That said, the kids have already come down with chickenpox this morning, so it'll have to be the four horsemen of the apocalypse.

Remember to set the lag-switch to off, nick, especially when carrying drinks.

After being out til goodness knows what time last night I have somehow managed to wake up! Going to go for a shower, then I think we're getting a lift to the station. I notice there is a Gourmet Burger Kitchen in Manchester...I may have to pay them a visit :)

I'm going to The Salisbury soon. That's by Oxford Road station, isn't it?

Kalmar doesn't look at all like you'd expect.

I was born in the same hospital as Pod.

Kov is teaching everyone how to shake hands properly.

Mr Dave may die laughing.

The train journey for Jen and I was made a lot kore pleasant when we bumped into Mr and Mrs DavPaz at the station. Got some good banter on the train.
Took a weird route home from the station and I think I may have climbed a fence. Now drinking tea and eating crisps and sandwiches in the hotel room.

What the fuck am I doing up at this time?

Getting a head start to secure the affections of michelle moist before these other slackers that's what. Expect to be introduced to michelle moist-trousers at the next meet.

Also "I'm not paying £7 for an kebab" as performed by Kovacs is my new favourite line. See the kebab shop staff smile yet with fingers hovering over the panic button.

BikNorton is truly the host of champions.

Quality day's entertainment even if half of you are twelve.

Most of you missed the cakes, by the way. We gave some boxes to Gaywood to hand out if he saw anyone, but he's probably eaten them. Either way, they seemed to go down well at the pub!

The Gaywood has distributed cakes to the rest of the Premier Inn Massive.

I am now on a train.

Forgot to mention, for those still in Manchester, downstairs in the big HMV outside the Arndale is a games zone with about 20 networked PCs and Xboxes. Also, Heavy Rain as being previewed behind a curtain

That was ace. Great to meet you all finally.

Special thanks to Curio for the hotel room, Bik for the original offer of somewhere to kip which I didn't take up and Mrs Malibu Stacey for the cakes of a frankly boutique-cake-shop level of awesome which we had in the pub. Not so thanks for her saying I looked old enough to be her dad, or whatever it was. MR FROWNY FACE.

Everyone's left mine now, before I got round to baconating them, so now I have to eat 10 rasher myself. Tut. Good day and night, thanks everyone.

Back home safe and sound - easy journey back.

Apologies to people I didn't get much chance to speak to but here's some thoughts on those that I did / can remember;

Gaywood - Actually taller than I thought he was having built an image of him in my mind for 10 years as a 3ft high midget.
Albino - If anyone is looking for him I have taken him home for my 4 year old daughter to play with.
DavPaz - The most unlike my mental image of him of all the posters. Dunno why but because I associated the name with "spaz" I had this kind of uber nerd pictured and he's nothing like.
BikNorton - I want him to be my new mummy.
MrRussell - Frigid bastard wouldn't let me spoon him last night.
Perkies/Meaty/Branch - My new best American friend. He really is a great American. From America.
Zardoz - Stood next to him in the toilet - not long. (ThankyouverymuchI'mhereallweek)
Kovacs - My new favourite narcoleptic and kebab shop intimidator
Mr Dave - Firm handshake - manly.
Throughsilver - Metal encyclopaedia
Pupil - As above but with extra Backgammon pieces.
Pod - Amphetamines are bad mmkay.
Myp - My favourite narcoleptic with a wobbly neck.
Grim... - Still laughing about "Or Or Or" and many other things he said while watching that late night art show.
Wullie - Must have MASSIVE testicles.

Everyone was awesome of course but there wasn't enough time to really speak to everyone properly to include you in the above list of insults.
