Everyone who is oot and aboot on Friday, be warned... you may have to walk quite a bit, because I intend checking out Fab first hand and possibly some bars in the Northern Quarter that may be worth a shout in the (probable) event of The Salisbury being too non-spacious/noisy/sweaty for our genteel southern friends. Think of it as sightseeing, you'll see another part of the city at least even if we learn nothing of use.

I won't walk five thousands miles just to fall down at 118's door and be reminded I'm staying at Bik's.

It's booked for 8. Make sure someone has your number to help with meeting up, I think Albin0's Five (as I have dubbed the early arrivals) can be in town any time from about 6 if we choose to be so the window of opportunity is ample :)

I have Myp's number so I'll get in touch with him if I need to. Otherwise, I'm keeping him unaware of my number for potential prank calls.

Speaking as a man who's read the whole thread, I reckon jeans and a tshirt are in order. I doubt we'll be going anywhere too fussy. Might be an idea to swerve the trainers tho.

I'm wearing trainers, I don't even own any shoes that I'd consider wearing with jeans. I have some black shoes that I wear with a suit for work and that's it.

You were the one who piped up about car space.

Prove it!

Seriously though, I don't mind who drives but we need to decide.

Should we run a poll?

I have Biks and GJs number, anyone else I will need, that will be
a) sober enough to answer a phone
b) able to give me directions

Am I included in that quintet? Also: turning up 30 mins later than originally stated.

Also also: fine with walking.

And yes Mr Silver, you are in the quintet. We're relying on you to push Dimrill around in a wheelbarrow.

Um. Argh. We can probably make room on the living room floor for a fourth airbed, but there're already going to be four cars plus mine, that's probably stretching what we can fit on my street* and at/outside my dad's. Feel bad saying no :(

No, wait, this is doable. Mr Russell, you can stay at mine both nights if you want. Have you got an airbed? I've reserved a single one at the Argos near work if you haven't. If you want to come tomorrow, being here by or before 6-ish would be best. If you want to come Saturday, in the morning would be best.

But - everyone staying at mine and driving, bring pillows and a duvet. Probably a towel as well.

Any vegetarians? Currently I'm only planning on getting bacon in for breakfasts.

I'm just thinking... I was prepared to squeeze Nikachu in at mine when he was showing a vague interest in coming, and Mr Russell is at least as likeable as him... so Russ, PM me or Bik with your rough plans and as he says, one way or another we will make things work.

I've only just thought to look up the parking details for this hotel. You get a 25% discount from the NCP Oxford Street car park, apparently, which is £16.90 a day before discounts. Is there anywhere cheaper?

I think there's a place by/near/under the G-Mex that's about a fiver a day. If I remember I'll ask at work tomorrow.
