Well hello there! It's that time of year again folks where you get to stalk your victim er, recipient and send them something amazing to make their Christmas rawk! :metul:

Rules of the game if you want to play are:

PM me your details(name & address) by Midnight November 30th with the subject line 'Secret Santa'.

I will be sending out your recipients details the next day, you then have about a couple of weeks or so to stalk them and buy them something truly amazing!

I reckon try to have your gift sent out by about the 13th of December so it gets there in plenty of time.

You may post in this thread, but you don't have to if you want to remain super secret and stalkerish!
    :ninja:

    I'm thinking of a cost limit of £5 - £10?

Over Christmas you take a photo of your gift and put it in this thread.

Try and make sure that you at least get proof of postage in case something goes astray, recorded delivery is always better so we can track it, but do whatever is within budget for you.

Try to update your Amazon wishlist, you can get the thingy (technical term, okay) so you can grab stuff from any site.

Last posting dates;

Thursday 13 December Standard and Mail Order Return Parcels
Tuesday 18 December Second Class and Recorded Signed For
Thursday 20 December First Class and Recorded Signed For

Any further thoughts or anything you think I've missed, feel free to post in this thread or drop me a PM. :)

No, they wake up to find coal in their stockings.

It's the last week of November so I'd like my Secret Santa to have a months notice. :attitude:

Doesn't close until the 30th, penis.
User avatar
I gave your mum her 30th penis.
User avatar
That'll please her. She doesn't like the little collection of glass jars to be in odd numbers.
User avatar
What about Grim...'s half then? That's going to mess things up.

Also: Oh yeah.
User avatar
I'm in.

In fact, I may already have bought the gift -- I picked something up a few weeks back without knowing who it would be a gift for, and now that I think about it, it'll almost certainly be a good choice for this.
User avatar
Most excellent. :)
User avatar
Is it a Nexus 4?

Last chance guys, closing this tonight. :)

Some SCOUNDREL has populated my amazon wish list with lesbian romance novels. The outrage! I have no idea how it happened. Nor do I have any idea why I feel this is the most relevant thread to post my outrage to.
how do I post my wish list on the forum please?x
User avatar
Oh, yes!

I was going to ask where we find people's wish lists!
User avatar
Well you just need to know someone's full name to search for their wishlist on Amazon. But if when the names go out tomorrow you can't find one for them feel free to give me a nudge for more information such as their email address (if you don't already have it).
User avatar
Wish lists are cheating. Buying a gift that somebody actually wants is way too easy :)
User avatar
What happens if I get the wrong Goddess Jasmine/Bob Smith/James Jones and send a stranger a thing?
User avatar
Then the gift will be far more interesting.

I'd have thought you'd be using the wishlist to find out what someone might want but use the address supplied by GJ?
User avatar
But then someone else might also buy them that thing
User avatar
Mimi wrote:

I think that's a manageable problem to have :)

That's why you can always ask me for an email address or a direct link. :)

Yes, but who wants two copies of the same book (etc)

Then think of something nice that they might like, which isn't on the wish list :)
