Statham isn't dancing to the video - he's in the video. That mess is the video.

He can't dive, either.

Also: Holly is so very, very beautiful.

Talking of covers, I've possibly posted this before, but I love this cover of 'Video Games' done with a couple of Game Boys. The old videogames in the video help too

I can't get enough of this.

The outro is fucking brutal, too.

I do have one criticism of him, and that's that his solos often sound like they've come from a different song. A minor thing really, who cares he rocks!

I'm doing a lot of miles at the moment, working in Glasgow and Edinburgh during the week, driving up on Monday mornings and back to Manchester on Friday afternoon. Having seen a lot of lunacy on the road in the last couple of weeks, I thought it would be a good idea to get a dashcam to record some of it and also in case I have any unfortunate events. Lovely drive home today though. For a change, rain wasn't going horizontally when I was coming through the borders. Here's 3 minutes of one of the best bits. No incidents, no idiots, no sound.

Impressive as that dude was, there's no way he should have been doing that with actual people in the firing line.

We were chatting about JAM at work and Chris Morris and Four Lions and suchlike in general. This sketch always stuck with me. (Close frontrunner with 'Sex For Houses' for most fucked-up thing in the series. I mean fucked-up in a good way.)

NOTE - Some people may find it upsetting.

Oh yes and here's Sex For Houses.

But then you'd need to start banning loads of dangerous things that people do voluntarily. If he was shooting arrows around random passers by that would obviously be different.

Generally speaking, knife throwing acts don't involve the throwing of knives...

Another Friday, another drive back from Glasgow to Manchester. A few years ago I was driving my wife and two friends down this stretch of the M74 at 70mph, overtaking an Eastern European truck when he pulled out and hit the back of the Honda Aerodeck we were in, pushed our rear end into the central crash barrier, which bounced us 180 degrees, and we shot across both lanes and the hard shoulder going backwards finally coming to rest against the crash barrier on the shoulde and the car was about six inches narrower. How the hell we got out of that with only some seat belt bruising and a bit of whiplash, I’ll never know.

Anyway, this close call happened last Friday.

My mother, who has a little etsy shop selling knitting stuff, has put up a video talking about a certain knitting technique. Much to everyone's surprise, it's managed to notch up 200k views. I think she might be a Youtube star or have gone viral or be a disruptive paradigm or something.

Squirtma is great!!! I watched that whole video, which is rare for me as I get bored, but there seems to be a bit of research behind her technique, which is what kept me watching. Who set up the filming? It’s a nice, unobscured angle.

Also, I like the wheel. Does she spin much?

She does spin! She used to a lot, but less now. Much of my childhood was surrounded by bags of fleece. She set the camera up herself - I think it's a basic little one, with a cheap mic.

She makes little clothes, and sells that patterns at http://www.woollywoodlanders.co.uk/

Yes, that’s the site I found when I was googling and wondered if it was the same person owned them.

Cool stuff! Yootoob star! She’ll be up with Stuart Ashens soon enough.

What witchcraft is THIS???? Put yer mouse pointer in the frame while it's playing, then click and hold and move your mouse around. Or if you're using a tablet, just tip and tilt it. My mind is :blown: .

I always found this 360 video rather fascinating too, despite not being particularly interested in aeroplanes -

I'd seen 360 photos, but never videos. It freaked me out the first time I saw it on my iPad, not knowing what it was and then noticing the view move when I tilted my screen.

A year ago, I found out about a community of farmers who trade John Deere firmware hacks on forums and torrent sites. They're hacking their tractors because Deere has encryption keys locking down access to the software, preventing even simple repair

A few months later, @laragheintz and I went to Nebraska to meet some of these farmers/hackers to make a documentary about them and the ongoing right-to-repair movement

We finally released that documentary today. It's one of the cooler video projects I've ever been involved with. So happy how this turned out:
