And Donkey Konga 2. And that platformer that used them.

They're all great, BTW. I still have four pairs of those bongos.

Wasn't it Jungle Beats or something? I liked it pre-Guitar Hero but the covers were sometimes a bit odd, or there was only 2 mins of a song.

Have you considered unloading your useless shit and finding a smaller place as a solution to house buying challenges?

I would have been tempted by the bongos but then remembered that I've recently sold a couple of sets on ebay to bring my own total of bongos down to two sets.

I do love Donkey Konga.

(More serious answer: I ditched about 75% of my gaming tat before moving to London, I have a few boxes in our attic but if they made the difference on a house I'd ditch those too.)

I never got into it for some reason. I guess drumming games aren't my thing - I used to have Taiko no Tatsujin for the PS2 and the controller (after getting stung with import duty on the damn thing) and only played it once before selling it on.

It’ll probably be an improvement over Genital Jousting.

Myp was saying the other day “I want a brown dick in my butt”.

I’d turned the game off an hour ago.

Dishonored 2 DLC expansion - 'Death Of The Outsider'

Few quid cheaper from G2A than Steam's £19.99 with only a modest amount of support for Russian gun-runners included. *

Borderlands 2 / Dishonored / DOOM / Dishonored 2 / Max Payne 3 - I have realised they are the kinds of games I really like and can be bothered with these days. GTAV gets a pass for its world and characters and story and music, despite the mechanics of the game being a bit clunky. Everything else on the list is just so lovely and smooth.

* Allegedly.

Called it pretty much bang on back on January 2nd, insofar as it was either going to be a new PC year, or a non new PC year, and it turned out to be the former.

Remove the cost of the PC from the year's total, and if anything I was a bit on the low side with my original estimate, but I put that down to being better disciplined these days at not buying games I know I'll never play, and shopping smart on Steam sales and G2A for keys. (Also, it really helps that I'm able to maintain completely freerolling Hearthstone, to the tune of card packs that would cost £250+ in real money.)

Indeed, Hearthstone and fruit machine emulation take up the overwhelming majority of my gaming time, and both of them are completely free.

I talked myself out of buying any VR and still managed to spend £1k. Not doing that this year (he said, optimistically).

Guessed “£1000-£1200”, was spot on until I got the Switch for Christmas, which is fair enough on my estimation skills. Next year may hold a new PC (circa £600-£1000) and possibly a second PS4 for a man cave plus a new TV to go with it, so 2018 won’t be any less spendy...
