I would reply with something really witty but I've just caught myself in my zip and now I've got a RED DICK.

Doctor says he may have to LANCE it.

As much as I find the alcoholic's redemption trope tedious, Goliath is brilliant. And dayum Tania Raymonde.

Oh for fuck's sake I just finishing watching Goliath earlier this week I was going to do a proper thread for it and everything, it's like never been mentioned on here EVER and now it has. I hate you all.

She's stunning you loon. Now, I mean - I assume you're thinking of her in Malcolm in the Middle.

She was ace in the criminally underrated and criminally cancelled 'Death Valley'.

Whilst it continues to be cliche 101, Goliath has some fantastic writing, great acting and some genuinely "holy shit" moments. Mr Hurt is suitably doctor evil in his evil lair with all his evil camera feeds. I want to find out why he hates McBride so much! Stutter girl needs to be in it more, preferably with fewer clothes. Night school law degree lawyer is an entertaining foil for McBride. And yummy yummy Tania. Deffo enjoying so far.

OMG. Blood Drive is amazing. In a dystopian US, racers compete in a cross-America race. Fuel is super expensive so instead their cars run on blood. It's utterly ludicrous. And glorious.

The Amazon Prime version of The X-Files is in Hi-def and wide-screen. It's weird to watch after only ever seeing it on VHS. Like a window into the 90s

On episode 5. It's called The Fucking Dead. This is everything I ever wanted in a TV show (except, sadly, any stars on the Craster scale - especially as the lead actress is insanely hot).

Is blood drive available from civilian channels? A quick look on just watch reveals I can buy it from Microsoft, which is as likely as me buying a blow job at Alton Towers.

I watched S01E01 of Preacher last night (the pilot). I thought it was very good although I have never read the comics or anything so there were quite a lot of characters popping up I had no idea about.

It was fun though, so I shall plough on with it tonight whilst getting fucked up on Buckfast.

I've never had it before but a mate at work noticed his local shop had started stocking it and thought of me, so he bought me a bottle and brought it in yesterday.

I didn't want to have it on a school night because of all the caffeine so figured I'd save it for a Friday evening. It might go quite well with the madness of Preacher.

A Scottish pal on WhatsApp described it thusly.

I had not read the comics and found parts of S1 confusing but I enjoyed it , however if you do stick through it what i've seen of S2 so far is *amazing*

And you should probably lay off the buckie - its the type of stuff to make you take a rock to your car again :-)

From Wikipedia

Quote:
The beverage has entered the popular lexicon with nicknames such as "Wreck the Hoose Juice", "Commotion Lotion", "Cumbernauld Rocket Fuel","Mrs. Brown", "Buckie Baracas", "Coatbridge Table Wine", and a bottle of "what the hell are you looking at?" It has also earned the unofficial slogan, "Buckfast: gets you fucked fast". The drink's prominence within the "Buckfast/Buckie Triangle" – an area east of Glasgow between Airdrie, Coatbridge and Cumbernauld – has raised concern. In addition, the glass bottle has been blamed for contributing to litter and providing drunkards with a weapon

We gave up part way through episode 3 of the first season. It was comic book violence and stuff, but just a bit rubbs.

A common beverage for Honda Civic Type R owners, barley wine.

The first season of Preacher does have lots of good moments, but as a whole it's a mess. Second season has been fantastic throughout though.

Yeah, Russ is being very wrong here. And that aside Hearthly I think it's very much up your alley in general. At least watch until episodes 6 as the fight with the seraphim at the motel is just incredible stuff.

It was bought for me without me asking, what am I supposed to do, not drink free alcohol?

As long as I don't end up accidentally fingering my own mum, we'll be fine.

Speaking as someone who's actually tasted it before I would say yes; you absolutely should not drink it.

I got mugged once behind the police station in Perth, one of the muggers grabbed a tenner from my pocket and brandished it shouting "fuck aye! That's a bottle o Bucky!" Then one of the other neds took it off him and gave it back to me for the reason that "he's a skater and They're gid cunts" anyway this seemed to cause some kind of internal unrest within the group and long story short: I lost a tenner.
I don't drink buckfast; that way madness lies.

I've just ended up listening to Spotify as loud as my headphones will go, no violence at all. There has been some tactical reorganisation of the playlist, but no heads smashed in or anything. Not sure how well I'll sleep yet but that's what benzos are for, if needs be.

I guess it's a situational thing.

Overall, would have Bucky again.

Is blood drive available from civilian channels? A quick look on just watch reveals I can buy it from Microsoft, which is as likely as me buying a blow job at Alton Towers.

Yeah it pretty much keeps getting better constantly. I'm up to episode 9.
