I like the premise but Seth whats his name isn't very funny.

Also space doesn't have a morning. At least commit to your concept.

Do Royal Navy ships run on GMT, as they must move time zones every day? I imagine submarines must, to maintain shift patterns.

I think star trek maintained ship time.

I imagine maintaining a consistent timing system across Starfleet would be extremely challenging, due to the extreme distances and relativistic effects of superluminal travel.

I'm not particularity familiar with his work, but I quite enjoyed A Million Ways To Die In the West, but that was probably mostly due to Charlize Theron.

I thought the first season was excellent with an interesting setting, good plot and well choreographed brutal fight sequences. The second season felt like a different show, with silly amounts of blood and Nick Frost as unfunny comic relief.

I agree with all that, shame about nick frost, still enjoying it though. Better than most things on telly atm.

Run on Zulu Time (it is GMT), but also adjustment for location in the world..

Both...

Has to be on Zulu for communication back to the UK, and local for where the ship is.

The Good Fight was good. Only 10 episodes, so kept it punchy and interesting all the way through.

Spin off from The Good Wife, but without the main character of that.

Without wanting to get into "what I think makes some girls pretty and some girls not", I think Ygritte is one of those people whose whole face can be transformed by good makeup, like a lot of models.

MrsVision and I have started watching Breaking Bad. It's the second time for me but she's new to it.

It's still brilliant though and I'm picking up lots of things that I hadn't noticed before. One being...

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
In one of the first episodes, Walt has a birthday party. Hank proposes a toast but he does this in the middle of showing off his gun. Everyone in the room raises a toast with a glass except for Walter who is holding a gun awkwardly. It's very subtle, but clever and shows the distinction between Walter and everyone else in the room.

I've been working my way through the X-Files on Amazon Prime of late. In the past, I'd given up around season four I think, but I'm now up to season either this time around. The quality is so variable though that some episodes, I end up paying very little attention to and have even just napped through. In the first few seasons, I prefer the 'monster of the week' type episodes as they were more interesting than the overall season story, but when you get to seasons six onward, I found that some of the monster of the week episodes were so bad, I'd long for a main story one instead.

In particular, I don't enjoy the lighthearted stories much at all, like Hollywood AD (where there's an X-Files film made). I much prefer the darker episodes.

Second time around, I found Breaking Bad to be more of a black comedy with elements of a thriller, whereas first time around the balance went the other way.

Things like:
ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
Walt chastising Jesse for bringing the meth lab to an airport, when later on Jesse chastised Walt for bringing a bomb to a hospital.
Walt wanting to withhold Jesse's payment from him because he'll spend it on drugs (it is drug money).
The discussion of killling/being a criminal with Krazy8.

All of this is hilarious, but way moreso given the context of future episodes.

Absolutely spot on. I said this just last night. It's way more funnier than I remember it being. I guess it helps that there's no suspense for me as I know what's going to happen.

I still think it's the best thing I've ever watched on TV.

We've started watching American Horror Story. Just started season 4 and still interested. I pay it more interest than my phone which is a good marker.
