Good news, it's quite a pleasant ale. If i get my boiler made this week, I will do 23 litres on Friday.
Do you have an idea what the cost would be to get set up from scratch to start brewing?
Would maybe want to do 10-15 litres as a first pass.
Also what about space and temperature? In terms of space I could put brewing apparatus in my garage, I went in there yesterday and it was quite cool compared with the heat outside, would that be an issue?
£35 will buy you a homebrew starter kit from amazon. This'll get you a 25litre fermentation bin, hydrometer, spoon, bubble trap and some other whatnots, that you will use. A beer kit (just addd water and sugar and yeast) will be about £10 to £15, Wilko ones are good for the price.
To make from grain, you'll want the homebrew starter kit, and a 15litre pot, 2kg grain, 100g hops and some yeast. So about the same.
Bottling: cheapest is 2litre still eater bittles as they are already sterilised, you can reuse beer bottles but need to buy a capper.
Temp wise look for 18-22 celcius i guess, it depends on yeast types but that is a lot of argument, so room temp.
