Heh, no.

Good point though, Cex are paying £30 for it at the moment. I might flog it while it's still worth something, rather than hoping I feel like playing it again. I can always buy it again when it really is worth £10.

It tails off with all that stuff. Easy to ignore.

The Rally DLC is absolutely amazing.

"Racing is not a sport. It's a battle. To the death."

What flavour twat wrut that?

And hey, Forza Devs, I was very impressed at the race against the plane in the demo, but I didn't realise that 99% of the showcase events were going to be exactly the same but in a different coloured car. The one I've just done was even on the same stretch of road as the first, but in the opposite direction. See! Totally different!

I also notice it has more than its fair share of capering twats. Not as bad as Midnight Club, but close.

The same who wrote that 'Fast needs no friends' shit for NFS:HP 2010, probably.

It's a pity that this game won't end with cutscenes of every person you've met so far either behind bars or impaled on their steering columns.

My Vimto, Breville and Loctite logos are selling like wildfire, if wildfire was something people would buy. Three. Nobody's bought my angry, rotten toothed, flattopped, pinch faced man though.

Would it have been really that hard to include just one racing character who wasn't a hateful, preening, boasting, arrogant cunt?

I've got my orange armband on this tonight and am still really enjoying it.

As Dimrill has said the showcase events are a great idea stretched as thin as an insect stripper pole but the rest of it is good solid racing fun.

I quite like to just drive around the map at full pelt and haven't used the fast travel much so clearly it's doing something right. The "Yo dawg, word to your Dad's Wife" shit is never less than cringeworthy as is the drivel of the DJ's but it's not that prevalent so you can ignore it mostly.

I've probably played it more than I did Forza 4 because there's loads to do and it doesn't (as yet 44/70 races complete) feel like a chore. If they start making the races 15 minutes long then they can get to fuck. Tell me that doesn't happen please? I did one long one at the end of the Purple set of races but hoped that was just a one off.

Is this better than Test Drive Unlimited 2? I loaded that up for the first time in ages the other day and couldn't get back into it, so I'm wondering whether to both and get Forza instead.

No. It's not really comparable to TDU2. It's more like a mishmash of Midnight Club and Burnout Paradise.

Free dulluck out today. Apparently adds 1000 new challenges covering every car available. Nice.

Hello old thread!

Anyway, I a few spare moments last night after I put the kids to bed so I thought I'd have a pootle around Oz in Horizon 3. I noticed that I was about 60% through the "Drive down all the roads" cheevo, so what the heck, I'll find a few more. Let's get to 400, I said. In bed by 10:30 I thought.

So, at just after 1am this morning, I finally found the 488th and last fragment of road on the map. It was basically invisible, as the road is marked with a dotted line. Thanks, Forza. Thanks, bloody cheevo system messing with my brain.

Bah, who needs sleep anyway? Solid effort for 20G :(

I played that one via the Windeez Store and got almost instantly fed up with the "this is YOUR festival! Don't worry where the money comes from to set this up for an absolute rando like you! It's YOUR festival! YOU set the races! Don't even think that you bought this game for entertainment, YOU have to do most of the things! It's YOUR festival!" shtick. And the stupidity of gaining 100,000 followers for going through a speed trap.. urgh.

I almost played 4 when I signed up for Game Pass earlier this year to have supah boffo fun teims with Crackdown 3, but I completely forgot aboot it before ending the £2 discounted first month before I was charged again.

4 is definitely a better game than 3. They run on basically the same engine, but 4 has more freedom and variety to it. And you're no longer in charge of the festival, because fuck that noise.

It's ok. Nothing really Lego-y. Just a few Lego cars and scenery. It's cute
