When I drove away from work yesterday I was behind an F430 Spider. It just looked silly - what the Top Gear lot were saying about Ferraris is actually right.
Not that I wouldn't have chopped his fucking hand off if he'd said "I don't want this anymore - Clarkson says it's crap, do you want it?"
I know what you mean. Bizarrely, the F430 looks a little under wheeled to me. And I'm not an enormous fan of convertible sports cars at all because to drive it hard with the roof down you'd need a full face helmet
There were loads of exotica in the car park, from concours condition classics from the humble (Lotus Cortina) to the more prosaic 930 turbo and the fabulous DB6 we saw, let alone the countless Porsches, Ferraris, Astons and even a brand new Rolls Royce Phantom Coupe, just to name a few. Shiny Shiny
As for the show itself - well it's an awesome day out for the car enthusiast where you can wander around the paddock talking with drivers and literally get run over by a F1 car if you don't get out of the way when they're returning to their garages. There are also concours shows and loads of dealers there so you can go paw shiny metal
