It's amazing how many people don't 'see' the FedEx or Amazon logos.

Yeah it's cool, that. There was a blog that did the same for Orwell as well I recall. Was his diary or something. Pretty cool.

That perhaps should have been two separate posts.

Anyway, no, you can't use CTRL+Shift+Tab in porn mode.

That the iPhone 4S is actually quite waterproof. Mine fell out of my pocket last night when I was putting the dog's water bowl down, landing in the bowl I'd just filled with water. It sat there in water for a couple of seconds before I retrieved it. I switched it off, dried it and put it in a bag of white rice. It appears to have come away from it's watery encounter unscathed, thank god!

Today I learned about Problem Screen Recorded in Win7. If you have friends / family members having problems, tell them to hit start, type 'psr' and click the thing that appears.

Give it a try - it's excellent!

Interesting, although I fear that it would probably baffle my dad, especially when it comes to saving the file and emailing it to me.

Windows Server 2008 seems to have it too. Windows 2003 Server does not *surprise*.

So I guess modern windows versions have it.

This is why you equip dads with Dropboxes, and say "click on 'my dropbox'. Click 'save'". Then you look at it.

Plus you sign him up as a referrer, and get 250 extra Dropbox megs, or whatever it is.

[edit]You should also set the IE homepage to http://www.fullonrobotchubby.co.uk/rand ... arents.htm ;)

Windows 7 stuff:
If you browse to a folder in Windows Explorer you can right-click on the 'favorites' on the left (the actual word favorites) and add the current folder to that list. Nifty!

Also, middle mouse button on a taskbar application closes it, but most people knew that.

Oh, and if you are sneaking in use at work and want to hide Live Messenger's huge icon(s) from your task bar, shut it down, right-click on the shortcut you use to open it and run it in compatibility mode for Vista.

If you chew on the wrong end of a "Sharpie" pen, the cap comes off and there's ANOTHER NIB UNDER THERE!! And it's a super fine one.

This is the best discovery I have ever made.

Some bleeder has nicked my Sharpie, so I can't check this to confirm. Also, someone has used all my staples from my stapler, BUT LEFT MY EMPTY STAPLER ON MY DESK. Common decency says you should refill it, surely?

Common decency implies that when you find the culprit, staple them to the supplies cupboard door as a warning to others.

You can drag a file onto an the 'choose file' upload button in Chrome and it will add the address to the box.

Also, if you didn't know, if you copy a file and paste it into an address box it will paste the file address.

And in case anyone missed it, Beex itself has shortcut keys - ALT + B for bold, ALT + I for italic and ALT + S or CTRL + Return to submit, among others.

I learnt I can angrily call my supervisor a fat fuck in front of the staff after being outed for stealing food out of the fridge and have the manager laugh and agree.

He is a fat fuck and I demanded a fiver off him to replace a two quid sandwich.

Fat fucking fuck.

You can play Snake on ANY YouTube video.

Pause it and hold the left arrow key and up arrow key at the same time, be quick though as the snake appears and darts for the left of the screen.
