Actually I'm pretty sure DBSnappa has enthused about perfumes. Odd of you to adopt it as a dream though.

It may have stemmed from me buying some Jo Malone stuff for Miss Malabar at Christmas, I guess. I personalised that dream a worrying amount, though.

Wheras all I had for a dream was a fox trying to attack me, except it had a ridiculously bouncy nose, so every time I kicked its face it went flying backwards 20m.
I woke up when I managed to miss the fox nose and it got me.

T'were right wierd

It was the Red Roses one, which I quite liked. It's very strong, though!

I had a dream the other night that Mick Jagger phoned me on my mobile phone whilst I was in the Post Office queue. I picked up the phone and he sad that he had been trying to reach me with some exciting news for a new opportunity he thought I'd be interested in, but I needed to give him a ring back. i said I would step outside and do that right away. He said, no, no, I should wait a bit, and then he had gone.

I walked outside the Post Office and was filled with dread. Clearly this was something big and exciting. But I had to phone him back in a bit. "In a bit'? Was that in five minutes, a couple of hours, tomorrow, next week?

What?

I'm pretty sure this has stemmed from something Craig does. it usually happens when he is trying to fit up some computer hardware or install some software with me 'helping' over the phone. He'll say "Ok, done that. Right, I've got stuff to do, phone me back in a bit and we'll finish' And I think - I'll just put the kettle on. I always come back to 'you have eleventybillion missed calls' and loads of 'where are you?!' voicemails.

OR

I phone back in ten minutes and he says 'I said to phone back in a bit'.

Thanks, Specificor.

Just remembered part of last nights dream. I was getting ROMs from Zaphod ( I have no idea what he looks like, but it was him) at a warehouse / construction site during my lunch break. He then starts handing me 4 pint milk cartons, each one had a game in it (yes digital milk 8) ) It took a while filling up the cartons from this machine then he started panicing as someone down stairs shouted that the boss was back. So we hurriedly looked around the place and covered my pallet full of "Roms" with a huge sheet of tarpaulin.

I had a right weird dream on Friday night, from what I can remember I was mostly fighting off face huggers with my pet mongooses (mongeese?) & I woke up when one of the mongooses was grabbed by a dog alien :(

Slightly odd dream this morning, I found this small weird looking jet fighter in one of the hangars near work, the inside was just a tin box filled with a few large cases of equipment, so I pulled them out and got in to the front part, where there was just a little hatch thing to put your head in. So I did, and was telepathically linked to a pilot strapped into a cockpit of a similar thing but was upside down having recently crashed, and was covered in blood from the copilot who seemed to be dead.
Anyway the pilot was a woman and the crash was possibly on another planet.
Then I woke up.

Scifi dream ftw!
(possibly triggered by the car wreck incident of the day before but never mind).

Rather odd dream.

I dreamt I was down by the shore next to a lake with a surface smooth as glass, frozen under a milky sky. Low hills on the other side and behind me a slate grey hillside ramping up into the low cloud. There was a little one room house made of concrete with a red roof and two windows and I knew that my little brother, who exists only within this dream, had just stepped inside. There was an old woman with cropped grey hair on the shore-side fishing, and I stepped past her and went inside the house. There was no one inside. My brother had disappeared, had vanished. Outside I cried out to my other-mother up on the hillside that lived in a house next to a bus-turnaround. She ran down the hill to me and as I told her how my brother had vanished, a small crowd formed. I tried explaining how he had impossibly disappeared into thin air, but they shook their heads and told me that he had probably just run down the hill, out of sight, when I wasn’t paying attention.

And then the old woman by the lake serenely spoke up and explained that he had been taken by the Wolf-demon Akaji - a figure who wore his ribs on the outside, had antlers and who could talk in human tongue, and who stole children away to learn the tricks and jokes of humans. Akaji had been haunting the lakeside for a long time she explained, since before her days as a child. And we all wept and wailed.

Then the dream shifted and I was a young boy in a classroom brightly decorated with maps of strange lands and with the costumes and bones of fantastical creatures and men. A dozen or so children were beside me and we sat at the little study desks with ink quills of old. A bright flash of golden sparks before the blackboard and a thin, tall man dressed something like a High Elf who was also a circus ring-master. He looked heroic and proud, but I knew that this was Akaji, trying to win favour in a different guise. He did some tricks with hoops and birds from sleeves and then asked us to tell him jokes. All the children clapped apart with delight and began to babble, apart from one girl near the front who frowned and then shouted his name at him. Akaji barked and shifted into a strange mahogany coloured man with blonde hair and antlers, still in a curious sense handsome but also somewhat twisted and frightening. He scowled at the girl with his long face and jumped through a door. I followed him through and found myself in a café in Cardiff, bright sunlight pouring through the windows, and knew that he fled into a different time, and that I would have to make a new life as best I could in this unknown year as the door swung shut behind me.

Not often I get dreams of such clarity. A rum do. :S

I don't know how it happened, but I punched a cat in its cute little face. Accidentally. It gave me this look that combined confusion, pain and just 'why?'. I felt so guilty, but the damage was done. The end.

Woke up feart last night. I dreamt I was back in Monrovia, but someone was killing weans to keep the war going. He was supposed to be a loyalist, but was dressed as a guerilla commander & chucking them off the Masonic Temple. Sickening feeling as I watched them fall to the ground & then there was a horrible thudcrunch.

Too vivid :'(

I still keep having fairly mundane dreams about how life might be if I hadn't broken up with my ex. They're not even rose-tinted or anything; according to dream-Bik things would have continued down the road to extreme unhappiness for us both.

I mean what the fuck, I don't need my unconscious speculating things in the way it's clear they would have gone anyway. After all, that's the reason I did it.

This morning, though, I apparently dreamed I reset my alarm and snoozed for an extra hour on purpose, when I didn't at all but still woke up an hour after the real alarm gave up snoozing. Which is neat in a way but I'd rather have been in work an hour earlier.

Mmm. I had a wierd dream where Chinny went off roading with Grim... (Who was also Jeremy Clarkson) in a vehicle the size of a house.

They had an accident, and Chinny lost both his arms.

My dreams are so cheery.

I dreamed I got back together with my ex, this morning, and it was promptly clear we were both doing it because of familiarity rather than love, and it was tense and uncomfortable. Really getting sick of this now.

I wish I could remember more of mine.

I know at one point last night I was on holiday with the Mrs in a bar looking at all the pumps to see what they had for sale, but all they had were draught wines that looked like Lambrini, I then spotted a Guinness pump but they had non left so they offered me this sparkling stout that was in a big fat wine bottle. :spew:

After last Tuesday when we met Myp in That London, I had a very odd dream that we all went somewhere and played this really complex board game called something like "Soldier and Sheep - Clean up after Dirty Pig!" where each player took control of a US Civil War solider and a sheep, and had to move them around a constantly changing board, trying to dodge various hazards ( including alligators ) whilst carrying out a mixture of military and pig related tasks. Scout out that hill! Bring Dirty Pig some turnips! Carry messages to commander! Scrub Dirty Pig! We played for ages, but I woke up before we worked out who had won.

I have a horrible (in that it freaks me out and feels really creepy as I am dreaming it) recurring dream where someone gives birth to a baby that is about an inch long. They bring it over, or I am visiting and they say how perfect the baby is, not realising that it is not the normal size for a baby, but I can't say this. Then they want me to hold it and I get freaked out and can't because it will be too light, and I may drop it.

Sometimes it is me that has the tiny baby and nobody else can see how small it is and nobody seems to realise but me and I get terribly upset.

Last night I was trying to install a kitchen in Bart Simpson's tree house. The kitchen was too small, but with a massive worksurface that took up 2/3rds of the space. He didn't want it and asked for a dance floor with multicoloured lights instead. I pointed out that the massive hole in the floor he used to get in the tree house would be dangerous in a disco dancing competition and suggested he got me to make a trapdoor to cover it. Then he transmogrified into a different kind of dog when I saved his life by lowering him on to the roof of the house, and refused to talk to me. I tried to explain to Grampa Simpson that he was a different kind of dog and not actually Bart Simpson then I got in to a rage and destroyed the front of the house by running through it and then it was mrrmmbrmrmrbbbrbrebbrbrmrmrmm.

I had a fairly scary dream last night involving vampires, Terminators, newsagents, terrible food hygiene and controversial Penny Arcade comics. Fascinating at the time, but probably not very interesting to relate.

What was odd was that normally in dreams when I ask myself if I'm dreaming then I realise that, yes, I am. Last night, though, I thought I was dreaming - my main argument was that vampires don't actually exist, so it must be a dream - but it felt so natural and real and undreamlike that it actually had to be real life. I kept trying to find something that would make me know I was dreaming, but everything was so solid that it just didn't feel anything like a normal dream.

Very strange.

I had a dream about Nirejhenge. I travelled down to see him recording his radio show, only to find he was holding two burglars hostage and torturing them with sticks.

Odd.

No? I have heard the title but have no idea what the film is about. I shall make a mental note to avoid it (alongside all films with talking/dancing babies or animals).

This half man half biscuit music video tribute gives a flavour of the nightmarish qualities without the terror of watching the actual film. If you like.

Weird one last night.

I was on a training course in that London and Grim... posted on the forum that he was in the building next door. Throughout the 'day' I kept looking out of the window and seeing new additions to Grim...'s building, in a Minecraft style. So, I dreamt about Grim, but he wasn't actually in my dream.

I had a dream yesterday that I'd somehow bought a shiny new Civic Type-R. I'd had a go starting the engine and all that and was really excited about taking it for a spin as I hadn't driven it yet, but I'd only just got up and really needed a shower. So I decided I'd have the shower first and then go out in it. But before stepping in to the shower, I woke up.

The gradual realisation as I came round that I didn't really own a shiny new Type-R was awful. I felt genuinely bitterly disappointed!

Not had a dream along those lines since I was about 8 years old! :D

I had a dream last night that I was doing some decorating, putting up wallpaper. But it was an old house and therefore due to planning and stuff you had to do it the way it was done in the olden days, when instead of wallpaper paste they would use a mixture of cement and human excrement. I don't recall actually hanging any paper, all I can remember is mixing up the 'paste' with a trowel and retching over and over. I woke up feeling physically sick :spew:

Did you, by any chance, wake up with your bedroom walls covered in shite?

Yes. It was better than when I dreamt I ate a Mars bar, though.

I had a dream about decorating, too. My mum's going on holiday tomorrow for two weeks for her birthday, so Miss Malabar and I are decorating her hall, stairs, landing and bathroom as a present for when she gets back.

Not only did my dream involve spilling the beans to my mum by starting to paint the hall before she'd left, but the only paint I'd bothered to buy was several tins of the awful mint green she has in the bathroom already.

Waking up to realise I was dreaming was a bloody good relief.

The fridge broke a couple of days ago. So instead of having Red Leiscester I had cheddar.

My dream started out with me back in my hometown. My cat (Dolly, the white one) got out and was missing for three months. I was beside myself with worry.

Then one day I was walking along the street and saw her in some one's living room. I kicked the door in and they came running in shouting at me.

THAT'S MY FUCKING CAT ! I yelled. We then got into this big argument and they were refusing to give her back so I went home and got her pedigree and photos of her and got the police to take her back. Took her home and my friend and cousin were there.

We found a hatch in the back room of my house that I hadn't noticed before. We opened it and there was a ladder about 200 metres long that went down into the ground. When we got to the bottom there were rusty diamondplate walkways similar to Doom 3 (only they're not rusty in Doom 3). It looked a lot like the sewer level in L4D2, aswell.

We found this big machine with a wall panel. I asked my cousin what the fuck it could be and he said it was a time machine. We decided to go further and it turned out we had discovered the entry to hell. As we turned to walk away a demon came out and fucked us all up. Somehow I managed to escape with half of my life left (obs videogame based) but my cousin and friend vanished. My cousin turned up dead in a flat about 90 miles away and was under the living room carpet. Not rolled in it, but under it. The carpet was still nailed down and hadn't been lifted. We were then trying to work out why the fuck he was there or how he got there.

My other friend never returned.
