I bought something off Aliexpress with an American plug on it. It came with this adaptor which, as far as I can tell, is absolutely useless.

It's amazing that there's a factory somewhere in the world that's making these. You'd have thought someone would have said something?

And that was what got one of my ex-employer's engineers fired when he did it on a client's premises.

This big slab of a book is 'Gamesmaster: The Oral History'. I ordered it on Kickstarter and I've been really excited to receive it. It tells the story of Games master series by series and so far, it's brilliant.

Nor has mine (although I'm at work today, so it might be there when I get home). They have just released an update saying that they're being pretty slow at sending them out.

Snap!

Only the non-signed one for me. I couldn't afford the reward tier offering a bit of the cross he failed to get crucified on, alas.

This book is ace! I can't put it down.

I've just got to the infamous Dave Perry/Mario 64 incident but I've got to go out so I shall look forward to reading that when I get back.

A massive thumbs up from me.

From what I've read over the years, both of them (Dave and Dominik) were being utter pricks. They did do Dave proper dirty, but then he was being a prick, so

I've finished the book now and it was great, especially this bit.

Yeah taking it back in next week for the MOT.

I did - I went through a few years of thinking I could manage without one, but got fed up of that in, uh, 2017

Oh! :D

Well, I hope the new ride is lovely. I think we had a car like that in a slightly more raspberry colour but it was stolen. Obviously they’re a hot commodity.

Not sure what a strawberry unicorn is but I’m mad you don’t have it because it sounds aces.

Just ordered a new iPad Air, the 2022 Model. I was waiting to see what the new Pro would bring, but the dire exchange rate has meant big price rises.
Apple have added £110 to the Air, but it’s still available at the old price at John Lewis so I got in quick.
