Yep.

My thoughts too... I'd love one, I really would but when I really think about mine and what it does, I'm quite happy with it so I shouldn't spend any more money. Especially when it can do stuff like this...

Not sure you've grasped the full potential, I mean you could also have done that by standing on a chair.

Apparently yes, although I haven't tried that out yet. It also does "predefined" camera movements, like I can tell it to focus on me and then do a spiral movement up and around me.

QuickShots, right? The 2 has a few of them, but not "follow me", which is a shame.

Aye, that's it.

All I've done with it so far is hover about 5 metres above our driveway and land again. Will be going up the Peak District with it this weekend though.

They released the API so you can use a third party app now with the Mini 2 that'll do that amongst other things. Litchi I think it's called, though I've not bothered with it myself.

Ooh, that's interesting and a little bit scary.

Hmm. £22 is oddly reassuring. I'll see if I can find any horror stories :)

Got a bit carried away myself over the weekend too. Needed to replace a leaky hosepipe so went for this bad boy from Screwfix:

Feels much better quality than the Hozelock it replaced. 30m when we actually only needed 25m as well.

Actually, I just remembered, it's new phone day this week as well. Had the Pixel 4A for the last two years and always been really happy with it. So after I saw some positive reviews the Pixel 6A seemed like a logical replacement. Also works out a good chunk cheaper than what my current phone cost except with way more data and they're giving away some of the Pixel Bud things as a sweetener for pre-orders.

Wheelchair ramps from a taxi make a huge difference! Pre loaded camping wagon makes arriving a lot better!

When I was a lad delivering the free local newspapers I hated - HATED - doors with letter flaps close to the ground like that.

I do like the colour though.

I did not order it that low, or that door. The installed the wrong one, I got money off.

It is not ideal…
