Indeed, hope it doesn't get too bad and you're clear for xmas.

Pro-tip: Talos Principle on the Switch in bed was a wonderfully diverting salve, I found.

Looks like they sent my booster appointment letter to my old address, despite my updating the surgery and the NHS Covid website as to my new address. Tch. Took a while but got through and now have a confirmed date for my booster - the 19th of December! EXCITEMENT-SHE-WROTE! Now I just have to avoid the lurgy until then.

Hope you're feeling a bit better come this weekend Cras. xx

Me too! Thankfully fairly mild so far - bit of a cough, fluctuating temperature, something of a headache. Fingers crossed it's past the worst. Go get your boosters!

I didn't watch it. Can't stand looking at or listening to that ghastly fraud.

The cynic in me thinks it was more about not talking about the Christmas parties any more, but things are looking bad again and I very much think restrictions are going to get worse before they get better.

The cynic in me has informed me that the cynic in you has got it right. He also asks you to ask the cynic in you why he never calls anymore. I don't know what he's talking about.

I can't watch him either. Him and his cod-Churchillian ramblings. Ugh. Anyway, all this could go either way. It's going to be very interesting to see if the severity has indeed lessened. Here's hoping, eh? I've got my booster on Sunday, in the meantime and in the run-up to Christmas all outside socialising except Wednesday meal and movies at Lord Rixondales are on hold, so I don't have the spectre of another ruined Christmas where I can't see my 'rents.

(Another) one of Darwin’s close school contacts has tested positive so he’s got to go for a PCR test. We won’t get the results before the end of term so SURPRISE he broke up yesterday, I guess. It’s a shame as it was the big Christmas party today, and he had all his costume ready, they had been making hats and stuff at school, Santa was arriving on a horse. He’s taken it really well, so I’m grateful for that but also super tired of it all.

Got pinged by the NHS Covid app this morning for the first time in about six months. Just done a PCR, and a LFT (negative). Waiting on PCR result tomorrow and postponing a quick job till the weekend.

I’m triple pfizered too. The booster was the only one I felt noticeably odd with. Just a little spacey

I had a couple of paracetamol and 90mins nap. Little Miss Positive LFT meanwhile has spent the day painting, running about whilst shouting, and playing Mariokart having an absolute whale of a time, so I foresee some of her Xmas gifts getting donated. The cow.

I had no side effects with Pfizers 2 and 3 except tender injection site, and only the weird inner ear thing that nearly had me throwing myself into a hedge after the first, which doesn't appear in the literature so may have been coincidence.

I do wonder if instead of the Wolverine-style constitution I've always assumed, I actually just have NO immune system and exceptional luck.

I got AZ twice then Moderna for a booster. I'm trying for an all-round superhero charbuild, a mixture of power and speed, not like you 3xPfizer one trick ponies.

I had AZ, AZ, Pfizer and had no side effects except a slightly sore spot where I was jabbed. And not forgetting that what I thought were side effects from the booster turned out to be the heart attack.

Hope you’re feeling ok, Mali x x x x

Hopefully that passes quickly, DP, and turns out to be a bit of nothing, maybe a change of temperature and humidity.

I keep getting a sore throat but I think it’s stress. It’s not too painful, I’m just ‘aware’ of my throat in a way I wouldn’t usually be, and then it goes a couple of hours later, but it coincides with periods of stress, of which I am having many :D

How are you feeling now, Craster?
