Fingers crossed you'll be able to buy a PS5 by then.

And good work on the book! Is it Aliens as in the movie franchise?

I can’t show it as it could damage sales figures.

BT have just texted full of apologies and given us £40 into our account for missed appointments. I have no idea what these even were unless they maybe date back to the middle of last year.

Just had my performance review.. it has put a smile on my face..

'Mark has had a really strong year, he is an excellent architect who has delivered great value for DXC and his client.

This year Mark has worked on a number of initiatives for Rolls Royce including the Stanley bid, Server decommissioning and Application Decommissioning. The focus for the customer this year has been on cost reduction, the framework Mark has developed for apps decom will enable a saving of £1m in run costs. Mark knows his customer in great depth and and can easily pick up any work assigned to him.

In addition he's also joined the SmartFactory team delivering into BaE. He's had to stretch himself in this learning new technologies and practices, this is especially challenging as it is an emerging service and training is limited and has relied on his own research. He's approached this with fantastic energy, drive and enthusiasm. This has also had the complexity of being 50/50 on two challenging accounts, he has has risen to this and handed this with ease and managing his stakeholders well. Throughout this year Mark has also paid attention attention to his learning and development completing AWS training to keep himself current.

Mark is a great team player, he's trusted by the team and will support and help wherever possible, he informally mentors the grad on the team and is helping him grow as a junior architect. He has a great attitude to his colleagues and contributes and engages well on ATL community meetings and events.

Feedback for Mark includes:

"Mark challenges the norm asks the hard questions rather than going with the flow. He looks for ways to better service the customers business needs using technology, rather than technology driving business needs"

"Mark has a very positive approach to challenging asks and his can-do approach is something that is widely respected by both his colleagues and the client"

"Mark has a very upbeat and positive attitude even in challenging circumstances, he has a great technical knowledge that he happily shares with others in the team"

"Mark is decisive and can quickly get to the nub of challenges faced to offer a pragmatic solution. Mark is a team player and a pleasure to work with."

Thank you for all your hard work this year, keep up the good work, I look forward to see what FY22 brings!'

If only you'd handled it with ease instead of delegating.

Never the less, it's an embarrassingly good report.

I’m in London at the moment and posted some photos on Facebook as we wandered around. A chap I went to school with happened to see them and said he lived in the area so we arranged to meet up and I’ve had a lovely evening in the pub with him. First time we’ve seen each other for 29 years!
