I love the BBC but at times like this it does go a little North Korea. All the stations, all the time?

Amusingly, the next programme on the Third, once the station demerges from the network, is just titled "A Sequence of Music".

In other DofE news, I'm looking forward to seeing how quickly the Mail blames his demise on Meghan.

I do think it likely had something to do with it. After all, what else could cut down a man in his prime at only 99 years of age? It is the only conceivable explanation!

How strange that they don’t mention the possibility that Prince Andrew’s fall from grace might also share some of the blame.

Richard Rush. Director. He made Freebie and the Bean starring James Caan and Alan Arkin. Probably one of, if not the earliest examples of the buddy buddy cop genre. It’s a very very funny film and also has some of the most amazing car chases ever. If you haven’t seen it, I recommend highly

Nice to see his 501ad on BBC Breakfast today.

They seem to think this ad kicked Levi's out of the doldrums and they've benefitted ever since.

I've got that Whitesnake video compilation of her cavorting on their Jaguars somewhere.

Sounds like she had a typical Rock 'n' Roll lifestyle that was no good for her, though there's no mention of the cause of death, so that may not have a anything tyo do with it.

Wrestler New Jack. Died of a heart attack at 58.

Those who don't know who he is, he was a hardcore wrestler from the old ECW days. The majority of his matches consisted of him beating up people with all manner of weapons while 'natural born killaz' by Dr Dre and Ice Cube played over the PA. I think if I was a wrestler, I'd have been very scared of him. He was very entertaining back in the day but you always wondered how long it would be before he killed someone or himself in the ring.

I never saw any of his matches as I wasn't big into ECW, but I had certainly heard of him.

I liked him better as a wrestler in Smokey Mountain rather than the brain damaged idiot he became later. Worth watching his Dark Side of the Ring episode to see how far down he went post ECW.
