We weren't confident until we got a text with a delivery slot. Joans was watching them drive around on a little map for ages. :D

Looks like half of the cost of the kitchen was fancy lighting. :D

It's a big kitchen, but I reckon I could get round it in under 2 seconds.

It is good.

I just make my own. Mix marmite and nut butter together.

Have you tried the chilli marmite yet.

Hahahaha brilliant

I've never fancied what them Yankees call peanut butter and jelly (which is what they wrongly call jam, apparently), but it only seems as implausible as Marmite, so maybe I should try it.

Have you tried the chilli marmite yet.

Do you measure the amounts carefully, or just wing it every time?

Haven't tried the chilli yet.

Jelly is made from fruit juice, while jam is made from pulp.

I would have said loads, maybe 30? That was before I just had one and that's enough for today.

I've actually been using my electric toothbrush with an old head that I keep separate. But I'm convinced that one day I will just forget to change it. :vomit:

Airbrush, Compressor, paints and bits. Went all round the houses and came back to MarkG’s suggestion. Very nearly went for a more industrial Hyundai compressor I could run air tools from but would have been overkill really.

Yeah, a full on compressor would indeed be a nice bit of kit to have for a workshop but for a bit of model painting those little ones are ideal and also quiet enough to use inside the house.

The one I saw was a small workshop one that’s supposed to be quiet, but then I’d need regulator, hose(s) and an airbrush so would have been closer to £200.

Today I bought some new wheels for my dishwasher. I wanted the spinning rims on 28s, but was forced to go with the stock for practicality.

The 1 TB was only £10 less.

It did not seem to make sense to save the £10 for 1/2 the storage.

Relatedly, we've bought a dishwasher!

Image

Exactly the same as the dishwasher it's replacing, ours started going wrong and we had an independent dishwasher guy in to repair it - he made some repairs but it made no difference and in fact made things worse, so he offered to refund us the repair fee and advised we buy another one.

You should get some running pants/shorts too. Those jeans are probably costing you about a minute or so over 5K.
