I've done a little art round, just one per person this time as it's getting harder to get all the rare ones :)

Thank you for the artwork, Miki. :)

Gate is open again, but just Label today. Although there's also a rather large balloon in the shop too.

Reached five starts yesterday! Quite a surprise as whilst I've done a lot of tree felling and started some areas there's still a lot of new land waiting to be filled. But I felt pretty pleased with myself nonetheless so built a raised area by the plaza and stuck a grand piano on top to celebrate. High culture indeed.

Haven't quite finished my small Crystal Maze tribute gardens yet. Industrial was easy, Aztec currently has just the great pyramid* and a couple of cacao trees, whilst Medieval just has some lonely knights' hats so far. But it's a long term vision.

*yes, anachronistic and anatopic - don't @ me as the cool kids say.

congratulations on the 5 stars Kern!

do you have some gold diys? There is a gold bench/seat thing that would fo well with your Aztec, maybe also some dropped (gold) coins?
and there are iron and gold armours to go in medieval
let me know if you'd like me to craft you something :)
oh also maybe the lamp things from Festivale in green?

you're very welcome DM!

the colours of the Festivale items are apparently linked to your airport colour, I see a blue item in DMs Nooks so all his items will be blue, I have pink/purple
Blue Airport - Red Festivale
Orange Airport - Purple Festivale
Yellow Airport - Blue Festivale
Green Airport - Green Festivale
with the feathers that will be around on feb 15th you will be able to custmise I believe
I strongly recommend buying everything from Nooks as they cannot be made or bought after feb 15th (unless you timetravel back) and they can only be bought once per day from Nooks unfortunately

Golden bench or gold coins sounds ideal, thanks. I *think* I have the golden armour recipe - haven't logged on today.
I bought the confetti blower from Messrs. Nook yesterday and set it up by the plaza. Will check my festival colours!

I'll update my dream again as well - the bell tickets always come in handy!

I passed 3000 hours yesterday, although most of that definitely isn't active play. It doesn't help when I forget to turn the Switch off at night too. :)

Gate is open, but just CJ today:

I’ve not played for a while now as I’m just exhausted by the move, but as I was packing yesterday Darwin went in, and thoughtfully sculpted the town to look like our new house and road. Not sure we have quite the number of huge lakes, randomly sprawling rivers and cliffs jutting out of the scenery as he suggests, but ok. My town is an unrecognisable jumble now, but he had good intentions :)

DM I've done housekeeping on Flump, I think I met one of your cousins maybe? Robert?
He didn't talk and he left with minus, which flung you and me to the airport, in case you are wondering why you're stood outside your airport

Ah yes, that's one of my cousins. He's still pretty new to it all, so I might give me a gentle nudge about that kind of thing. I guess he could have been booted too as virtually every time I go to my Switch in the evening, I'm still connected.

I got the message "someone quietly left" and the connection was still good, only you and I were stood at the airport and a few flower things hadn't saved
it's not a big deal, he might have thought he was doing me a favour by not doing the fly out cut scene, but minus can potentially be problematic

Hi DM, I've done a little round on Flump and I bought the blue stall, I can send it back in the post if you would like it back, I just didn't want it to go to waste and I have an idea for them
are you not buying the festivale items?

To be honest, I'm not really getting involved into anything new with the game lately as I'm struggling to find the motivation for it. I still like opening the island up for people to have an extra place to visit, but I don't know how much more I'll do within the game myself. So feel free to buy anything.. no need to send a return item :)

We’ve not managed anything recently. We aren’t connected to the internet for a bit and have been going to bed at 9:40pm as we are exhausted. But now I want to go and dance with Blathers, so...

if you do one thing, buy the new reactions (including the dancing) from Nooks, if you haven't already :)
but it is for sale until the 15th I think, and if you miss out I will try and help with timetravel, unfortunately I can't buy it and post it

I hope you are all settled in soon :luv: and I hope you feel good enough to enjoy the new house!

I love Festivale :luv:
I love the confetti in the air
I love the dancing villagers
I love running around the island with my net hunting feathers
I wish it could be Festivale for weeks
(ok Pave could dial it down and I'm absolutely drowning in items and feathers)

It’s making a nice little change for the day, definitely. Pavé is annoying, though.

You probably spend longer on my island than I do. :) I forgot to mention that I'd reconnected during lunch as I got busy this afternoon, but I see you figured it was back online anyway!

Darwin came by your island (as me) without my knowledge earlier, too, DM. I don’t think he did (or would do) anything amiss. From the sound of it he just walked around and talked to your villagers and swapped/gave feathers to some of them.

I was upstairs doing some DIY, oblivious :D

it was funny because I had just put down a fossil by your house when Katies teacher called to talk, and then Mimi proper arrived and started talking to afk Miki :DD

Oh, I know. It's just part of my routine during the week - I open the island up while I have my breakfast :) I might stop playing it soon though I think - I really should try more of the other Switch games I've got!
