I’m sure I had a top almost identical to that when I was in 6th form/uni, just cut a bit differently.

I intend to wear it on video calls with particularly egregious colleagues.

Nice dog, Grim... She'll be very tired with all the growing she has to do!

Mimi! I'm so happy for you and Russell, you must so looking forward to having your own outside space. Utility room is a bonus, are you looking forward to having a proper sized kitchen?

I bought more if this stuff, because it was on early release and I can't resist. Started last night and I love it. Spending like it's going out of fashion this month but I have lots of VIP points now so I won't have to spend quite as much next time!

Honestly, the kitchen is not really much bigger. It is a bit longer, which gives more counter space. I really hated the lack of counter space here, which was made worse by the fact that our oven has never worked so we have a table top mini oven, a halogen oven and an instant pot using all that counter room. Having an actual oven will mean they can go into cupboards. There’s also a proper tall larder, which I’m looking forwards to having.

Where'd you get the Saturn V from Kern? I did one a couple of years back with my son and it was fab. I meant to get another one that I could keep stored and then gift to him as a surprise when he's older (or has a kid of his own, if he chooses to) but they never came back in stock, until now it seems.

Mimi - beautiful long garden - enjoy

A surfboard!

The kids did some lessons and loved it, and it just so happened that a beginner friendly board was being sold for 70 bucks nearby!

Also, a Wii U with plenty of controllers and a bunch of games (Mario Kart 8, Rayman Legends, Nintendo Land and Wii Party, Splatoon) for $80. What a lovely little console this is.

Straight from the Lego store. It reappeared in December although I ordered mine as a post-Christmas treat to myself.

I needed a new wash bag.

It is made out of recycled army tents, tyres and inner tubes.

I think it is cool.

What do the various black boxes do, JC?

It's a bit more obvious what I got today. it's absolutely massive. 13kgs! Bloody huge. I have mostly been reading instructions tonight because I am very scared about breaking it.

You say it's obvious, but until I'd scrolled to the photo, I'd just assumed you'd bought 13kgs of lego.

Maybe that's the next delivery!

I meant from the picture it's a bit more obvious - I couldn't tell what JCs stuff was, even from the pictures - you don't have to know about sewing machines to recognise one :D

Thank you. Its great so far! Of course, the first thing I did with it was see how high it would go.

It's pretty scary when it's so far away from you but it should be great in a bigger space.
