Both myp and Squirt could give me three D6 rolls and they can have exciting character backstory stuff (from Xanathar's Book of Everything) too!

Is my miniature golden sickle usable as a sickle or is it a decorative item?

Whilst Ivo's class is Warlock, he does think he's a Cleric, so that chart might be a more appropriate one for him.

Do Shuu's fluff! ...lute of immense soiling ...ran away from a band of Morris Strippers ...has to perform a ballad every time he hear's the word 'Moist'.

Do Myptik's fluff! ...Wand of tyre changing ...just what was he doing on those missing sessions? ...resolved to make a replacement sleeve out of the skin of vanquished foes.

I should get a job with WotC...

Tis true, the Zook family has nestled firmly within Xunt's loving bosom for many a year. ObviouslyI have been carving the Scary Cross and Lightening Bolts symbol of Xunt where ever I travel - it lets us know Xunt is always watching with their thousand glowing eyes ( although out of respect for Zardoth, I have not carved them on any trees or birdhouses ). And as for the tongue, well, I'll have you know it's a. medical condition and I'll thank you not to stare.

Good planning everybody!

Wise to split the Necromancer from half of his ‘children’ before we murdered him restored balance to Mother Nature’s natural cycle.

All worth it for Dave’s new cape.

Moonbeam is more :metul: than I thought it would be! Good job as those Zombies were like frigging Weebles.

That was definitely the most combat heavy session we’ve had but good planning meant that there wasn’t really too much threat. I was slightly nervous about a lack of a cleric in the party and thought we might have a character death before too long but Ermintrude is so good at dealing a ton of damage and soaking up attacks. A lower stealth roll from Ivo to kick off the attack might have meant things turned out differently but poor Hamun had no chance!

Combat will start to feel more slick as everyone gets used to their class and start to become comfortable with some go to spells. That’s the first proper sustained multi round combat and the first chance to try out some of the different abilities and attacks.

Those zombies were sturdy! Looking forward to see where we go next. Can’t wait to see the Zardoodle. Will it be Shuu and Krung looking majestic? Will it be Zardoth and his wolf friend while everyone else hides nearby? Will it be Hamun’s undignified fart?

Hamon rolling over and farting as he’s dealt major spell damage in his sleep is a mental image that I’ll take to the grave.

I hope it’s how I go.

New D&D book is getting announced tomorrow and news was leaked today, more details here. Sounds like some people are a bit grumpy about it but I’m really excited! It’s a DMs book, and it’s a collection of mystery adventures with writing from Kate Welch, Marisha Ray and Deborah Ann Woll! So so excited to see what it’s like and hopefully there’s something in there that I can build into our story. I really like the idea of having mysteries to solve in the game and I’ve been thinking about trying to incorporate some puzzles so can’t wait to get a copy of this.

Myptik sighs heavily. He knew this day would come, but he didn’t know it would be today. He reaches into his knapsack and rummages, his brow furrowed in mild vexation before relaxing as he finds what he is looking for.

“Phandalin Borough High Council Planning Scroll C5-v2, I knew it was here somewhere!”, he cries, triumphantly.

The old wizard closes his eyes and focuses his concentration on the bureaucratic form, and as he does so his staff starts to glow with a reddish-brown light. A shimmering phosphorescence slowly appears around the parchment. The wizened mage utters an incantation under his breath: “Laminatus Protectio, ” and the staff glows a brighter red before fading back to normal, the planning form now encased entirely in a transparent and flexible but sturdy and smooth material.

“We cannot allow this to get slightly crumpled, else our plans for the swimming pool at Trebor Manor may be rejected!”, the old man imparted, nodding sagely.

I was pretty impressed with how easy it was last night to build a battle map on the fly in Foundry when you decided to ambush Hamun at the campsite.

I was messing around trying to figure out the initiative tracker as well so everyone could see their initiative order but I wasn't exactly sure how to make the order right so I'll see if I can read a tutorial on that before next week.

You're doing really well with it!

Nice how the field of view mechanic works. Will you be able to adjust it for next time I turn into a Brown Bear, just so I can stand on back legs to look over walls to laugh at Ermintrude :D

Just wish I could work out why it glitches out for me from time to time.

Also: since my armour class went up to 18, I've had three rolled attacks against me. a 19 and 2 20s.

From this, I think Dimrill needs to send Gilly the dice he was using yesterday.

A real swing on the dice results last night, I rolled unusually well apart from some middling damage rolls.

Dimrill really should start thinking about buying new set(s) :D

The Zombies were surprisingly quick too! Especially when they gained ground using that extra charge thing.

And if Herman has used magic that required a Dex saving throw rather than an attack against AC, like a fireball, we'd have been more vulnerable. Only Shuu has a decent Dex save
