I bet you haven't even added that potion of invisibility to your pack.

I'm going to insist that Ivo take the two scrolls we have: Charm Person and Fireball. And cases for both.

We could get Rummage Mansion to pay for itself by doing B&B in one of the wings, maybe a Health Spa down in the basement, S&M facilities in the dungeon, that sort of thing?

Gillikins! As we have a Druid in our party, is it possible for It to make us potions and such? Should It have been searching for useful herbs instead of turning into dogs and leading us into zombie traps?

We have these reagents, yer see. And I was wondering whether they had other uses than just things to sell to apothecaries. Hence potions. Call em remedies if you want. You keep offering to go herb gathering.

The short answer re: potion making is that it is possible, although you probably need the right kit and proficiency in using it, similar to how you need thieves tools and proficiency with them to pick a lock.

The longer answer is that there are specific rules and tables around this in the DMG and one of the additional sourcebooks and I’d need to reference that to get all the relevant details, so let me know if there’s genuine interest and I’ll do some reading. I wouldn’t want to come up with anything on the fly in case it became wildly OP.

I’ve been exploring campaign trackers this week as a way to keep my own notes on locations, quests and NPCs and I’ve found a pretty cool online based tool. It lets me make notes, link entries (such as NPC and location, or guild), drop tags on a map, and set entries to private or public. I’m going to spend some time testing it to see if it’s truly useful or if it’s just a time sink with limited gameplay value. I’ll let you know more soon! If it pans out as I hope then I’ll be able to share a link with you all with only the information you already know visible. I’ll also be able to save session notes, which will be very helpful if the campaign spans a long time period.

I thought it'd be cool if the Leaftrotter could find certain herbs only in certain locations, with value of such dictated by that. Potion making shouldn't be an easy thing, I reckon. Otherwise he'll be cooking up each time we rest.

Will do. I also have access to the digital copy on DnDBeyond but it’s via my friends campaign sharing so I’m not sure if you’d be able to see it. I’ve shared all of my DnDBeyond owned books with all of you anyway, so worth checking.

I’ll grab some snaps on the relevant section and PM you.

There are new fighter options and then multiple tattoo options over multiple pages so I’ll see if it’s easier to upload them to discord. Here’s a teaser.

Reading Xanathar's also identified a magic item I want.

HAT OF VERMIN
This hat holds 3 charges. While holding the hat, you can use an action to expend one of its charges and speak a command word that summons your choice of a bat, a frog, or a rat. The summoned creature magically appears in the hat and tries to get away from you as quickly as possible. The creature is neither friendly nor hostile, and isn't under your control. It behaves as an ordinary creature of its kind and disappears after 1 hour or when it drops to 0HP. The hat regains all expended charges daily a dawn.

Useful!

I am now reading this stuff about Druid gear:

“Animated Shield is one of the best, IMHO - keep your +2 AC whilst wildshaped!

Dragon Scale Mail is the best way to give better armour. If you want to upgrade it, it's easy enough to remove the disadvantage on stealth checks you normally get with scale mail.

Consider something like a Periapt of Wound Closure to improve survivability.”

We need to concentrate on skinning dragons now.

Apparently some dragons collect their cast off scales and gift them humanoids. So we could befriend one. You bloodthirsty shit.

This would be amazing, it would be great if they could come to an agreement. I much prefer buying the physical book so that I can sit down with it and have a read and flick through but I use DnDBeyond a lot for character sheets and for referencing during planning. Although weirdly I mainly use the book again during the actual game if I need to check something and it’s not on my reference cards.

Oh, do you reckon if I gave that nice Swedish lady in Costa an order, she could get it delivered in a few day? I doubt she keeps my specialist Book of Shadows ritual requirements in stock! Maybe she knows some skilled artisans and traders back in Neverwinter i can commissions my magical doodabs from?

You have gained a Treasured Item!
- A miniature golden sickle handed down to you by your mentor.

You have gained a Guiding Aspect!
- Oak trees represent strength and vitality. Meditating under an oak fills your body and mind with resolve and fortitude

You remember your Mentor!
- Your mentor was a wise treant who taught you to think in terms of years and decades rather than days or months.

I'd quite like to go back to Neverwinter and have a shufty around.

If you had 1 hour, then congratulations!

I WILL DESTROY IN THE NAME OF OAK
