Built my first snowman!
Also done quite a lot of clearing, and I'm quite pleased with the spaces I've been making as a result.

Gate is open and Redd is around:

Yesterday was my first perfect snowboy after making a mess of the previous attempt and accidentally pushing the body into the head and ending up with a top-heavy version. :)

I have a heavy meteor shower at Sheppey tonight. It’s only the second one I’ve ever had on my island!!

I’m not sure if people are still interested in those, but if anybody is, just say aye and I’ll open the gates tonight some time x

I don’t know that you NEED festive wrapping, but I’m happy to make some and send it over if you’re still short! x

No mind! We had a good number of wishes and it was really nice. I found a few little wrapped gifts on my island this morning so I’m not sure if they were due to Jingle or if a stargazing friend left them dotted about last night?

We had a nice quiet day thanks Miki. I hope you enjoyed your day too. I've not played as much AC as I did due to WoW but I'm trying to get on when possible as my villagers will forget me! I hope you're all okay and things good.

I'm alright Vicky, thank you, it was just the three of us but that's perfectly fine
we are in lockdown so there is absolutely nothing open except supermarkets, but thankfully we have our food delivered and although it's a shame we can't go do much of anything we are thoroughly enjoying two weeks off - much slobbing and tv watching and we all have our games
mine of course is animal crossing, katie got something called fall guys I think? and steve finished Life is strange and has now started a dragon thing I believe
I'm still totally happy with my Animal crossing, making the snowboys and looking at adorable villagers in woolly hats and I've had aurora borealis once :)

I hope everyone is all right! I'm, quite jealous of your real life snow Mimi :luv:

Talking to yourself why?

Anyway, happy new year, Miki. I was going to send everyone a new year message, but Orville said I’ve sent too many, so I only managed the top few :(

Happy New Year, everyone. Sorry, Miki, I didn’t read this again yesterday (New Year isn’t my fave time).

We ended up watching new year tick by watching Animal Crossing, and when the big 2021 firework went up I cried like an idiot. We only stayed up as we had been on a zoom call and the fireworks here started about 11pm, so there was no point trying to sleep. Went to see Blathers. He wished me a happy new year. Cried again.

Anyway, happy many year.

oh no need to apologise at all!
NL is horrible with fireworks, this year it was forbidden (sale and use) but so many people are insane with it
Katie was super excited to stay up so I had to pretend it was a festive evening, but I hate it so much
we watched films throughout the evening and had sweeties and nibbles she was very happy
there was non stop fireworks throughout the evening and just after 12 it exploded like a warzone so we all went to bed around 01.30
anyway, it's done and I do have hopes for a better year :)
big hugs!

Coool! That’s good to k kw. I did see the update when it was released but obviously didn’t retain any of the information!

Could I possibly have an iceberg wall, and a ski slope floor if they are still available?

I think Nintendo are a little confused about their timing for seasonal items
from 01-01 you can buy some new seasonal items, among others a balloon arch that says 2021
so I ordered it yesterday and put it up today, feeling a bit foolish
new years is over, what am I supposed to do with it now?
a few days ago it would have made more sense

I slotted that balloon arch yesterday. I thought maybe it had been available to buy for a few days previous and I had perhaps just missed it.

Ah, I didn’t see those! Are they still available to buy if you’ve catalogued them? I quite fancy it.

Oh, thank you darling, but please don’t go to that trouble. I was just going to pop a couple on one of the tables and thought they’d be cute with the little picnic basket, but they are only a little detail in a huge game, and it was entirely my own fault for not checking sooner!

Haven't really done much gaming over Christmas (I did start on Stardew Valley, but I've already forgotten who any of the characters are), so I've not played AC since Christmas Day. As I'm back at work today, I figured I'd try and get myself back into a routine again, so the gate is open. Just CJ around though.

Thank you, but I'm not too fussed about getting every festive recipe - I think I only have the two wreath recipes, but that's enough for me :)
