I have put some more fossils in the field and I've put down some acorns and some pinecones for anyone having trouble collecting them :luv:

Had a nose on the Switch over lunch and noticed it had disconnected. Went for a nose around and all the fossils have gone again. Of the friends online at the time, I'm not even sure any of them are the same as the friends online last time, so now I'm wondering if there's some weird disconnection bug. I've scrapped the fossil area altogether now and I'll have to have a think about what to do with the space. Thank you to those who contributed though :)

wauw that is weird. my post is basically my timestamp as I typed it when I was on the dodo plane back to my place. So both connection and fossils were there

Does it happen only when the Switch disconnects? It’d be weird if it were just the fossils that disappeared, though, and not the songs, wallpapers, etc. I’m
Not sure if I’ve put the switch on today, but I definitely haven’t been over if I did. It’s Darwin’s first ever day of school, so I’m not really with it nor in the mood to play. :(

I think scrapping the area is a fair enough thing to do. You helped a load of people, but I think most people have a full fossil collection now, and those that are looking for a couple of new ones can be sent any specific spares from folks by post.

Could just be a coincidence but it does seem to have disconnected each time. Today might have been my broadband connection rather than the Switch as internet went down as a whole. All very odd.

I've not been on yet this morning as busy busy. Happy to look out for random fossils if anyone has any last requests (sounds morbid) though.

I've been trying to find something about a bug like this but I can't
I've been thinking about the difference between the field of fossils and the field of diys and materials and I wonder if there is a bug if it's related to the materials on the pattern
because that is one big difference between the diys and the fossils
and it also seems to happen when at least half the field is filled - I actually think today was the least filled
Im itching for some scientific experimentation, but only if you feel like it DM

Unfortunately I ripped up that whole area earlier. I think it was just the generic light dirt pattern though plus a few of the letters on top of some of them.

Guess who immediately forgot he'd ordered a blue phone box for a extremely nice and generous person? Yep. Sorry for the delay Miki, it's on its way now :) Thank you for all the recipes! (the Wistful painting was a forgery though) :)

Gate is open again (although I didn't actually close it - I forgot the Switch was on and left it on all night..oops)

Not much to report though - turnips are 116 and Label is around. Also, thank you to whoever left all the fossils, but I've given up on those now :)

This is where you realise you've been logging in to your dream address island instead of the real one.

I've also got Redd this morning although only 1 item is real (which I think I've got, so will likely end up with miki for redistribution :DD )

Ive got a few new villagers recently
a grumpy bunny with an amazing 'stash
a smug lil hamster
a phoenix
and Lolly the lovely cat :luv:

I've also worked on my museum gardens and added a little seating and a little flower stand where they work to tend the museum gardens

I love the cat. Excellent Jumper.

I am one day off having an island of squirrells, as the tenth is about to move in. I haven’t gone for a personality range: I just went for all the nice ones :D

I've not really played at all over the past week. Grotty colds and workloads and bleurgh. Hopefully I'll be able to log on later and chill out for a bit. :D

I'm sorry youre feeling poorly Jem, hope you feel better soon!

I really dont think that it matters all that much which types you have for diys, I think the repetition is mainly that we are all getting here with getting our regular diys
it's a nasty job, but if you check which diys youre missing, apart from the seasonal ones, you might be surprised that the list is not that long
and do make wishlists if you know what you're missing, and I will keep my eye out like I've been doing for Dimrill
speaking of which, @Dimrill your list seems a bit off, there are some autumn diys on there and some christmas ones, but no frozen diys and I dont know if youve listed all the christmas ones

I have Redd and all of the paintings are real as far as I can tell. Have picked one at random, will open the gate in case anyone wants to pop by and grab another one (not sure how long he stays open?)

When I listed them I thought I'd removed all the seasonal ones, such as the frozen, Christmas, Mush, and Celeste ones. Must've missed some.
