Initially I thought I'd find him annoying, but I've grown rather fond of him. Definitely one of my favourite regulars. Still can't stand Wilbur, however.

Wilbur is one of my favourites. I like the nonsense he comes out with :)

My turnips are "fluctuating" this week so I am stuck at 140 or lower which is not good but I was expecting this after a large spike last week, it seems to follow a 4-5 week pattern (so far)

I’ve never met CJ or Flick or Wilbur! Is it because I don’t get to play during the day usually?

no flick and cj stay until 05:00 so you should see them in the evening as well
wilbur lies on the beach asleep (drunk?;-) and you just have to poke him until he wakes up

That's Gulliver. Wilbur's the pilot.
Orville's lovely and fun, but Wilbur tries too hard to be cool and has an air of superiority about him. It's great characterisation.

I can't stop laughing at how much Gaz's island is getting hammered. I have tipped and will be back shortly with smaller second haul!

Yeah, sorry, it's listed on a queue system for SA goons as well - hopefully none of them will give the code out.

Not an issue, just button bashing until it works.

If I have to hear that joke about NookPhones again though...

We found out the other day you don’t have to go back to the airport, you can press minus and ask to go home that way instead.

You shouldn't do this, however - because it can (and more often than not, does) kicks everyone else back to the airport regardless of whatever they were doing.

It can also corrupt save data and has a few other negative side effects, although I'm sure those will be patched out at some point.

//edit: It's less risky if you're the only visitor on the island, though.

Cor blimey, I'm somewhere between 8 and 9 million bells richer after today. Absolutely insane.

One incredibly generous person came by three times (queuing properly each time, too) and each time left me 297,000 bells as a tip.

Nice! I made 600k and then came back with Jen’s turnips and sold them for about the same so left 99k each time.

What do you do with all that money, Gaz? :D

Thanks for letting us pop by to swell. I think we got about 300,000, which was enough to finish off paying so Darwin could get a third room, which he’s really looking forwards to. How many people came to your island? I think I was the only person on when I popped by.

Not a clue. I’ve already paid off all of the Nookfather’s loans, and don’t really have any more incline/bridge building plans.

Not sure on unique visitors, but gotta be close to 50, maybe more. I had my gate open until the shop closed and people were queuing right up to the end, my last visitor ended the landing sequence just as the clock ticked over to 10pm.

thank you very much mimi!
I missed out on the recipe, but two chairs are now a long sofa
and I customized pillows on it that are cute but don't go with the wallpaper at all!
I have been making friends with sable and she has been giving me patterns but I dont know if they are the patterns I saw
I feel very honored to talk with sable though!

I have Celeste this evening and she's giving out the Gemini Closet recipe. Opening my gate shortly.

Also, I have a LOT of flowers these days. If anyone wants a few, please dig them up. Only exception are the ones in marked flower beds (dark soil).

Just one more rusted part to go now I think for the robot.

I figured I'd check my island rating and it's up to four stars now although they're not happy with all the clutter on the floor :D
