Hi. You've all been very kind to me here and I appreciate that. I've been trying to learn the basics so I don't look a complete noob when I meet up with any of you. I have a little house and can do the basic stuff and am around if any of you are. I've not visited anyone yet though. I hope all is well today! :)

Re-posting this information for those who missed it previously....

If you find typing in the Animal Crossing keyboard tedious and slow (doesn't everyone?) it's worth downloading the Nintendo Switch phone app and hooking it up to the game. More info here: https://en-americas-support.nintendo.co ... ing%3A-new

It's still very limited, but at least slightly faster!

Exciting start to the day. Also, Tad gave me a Quaint Painting in the post. It turned out to be fake, but I wonder if we might get the occasional art piece from islanders.

Dimrill, really happy to help :D

Albeille, sorry I missed you, hopefully next time

The Vision are your girls making a list for the missing fossils? I really don't mind sending two random ones a day, but it doesn't feel very helpful as I've no idea what I've sent before

I never played any previous version of AC but I like all the flowers and trees and have no great ideas of doing stuff other then that with my island
I know I will be playing this for ages so I don't mind waiting for ideas and for things/recipies.
Though my one wish would be to have more visits from everyone: flick, cj, redd, celeste, leif and meteor showers

The fact that animal crossing really has explicitly gamified things like this this version (and also more explicitly made it ok to plunder (Nookmiles) islands, sometimes distracts from my perfect island illusion..

It’s almost like there’ll be a DLC at some point with another island so you can have your developed island and an actual sanctuary.

I can’t wait to see if we’ll get DLC for this. Whatever it is will be amazing.

My island hit five stars and I’d say it was practically empty. The only ‘big’ things I have are a couple of lighthouses, the rest is a few benches dotted about and the garden furniture in islanders’ front gardens, but it seemed to have satisfied whatever criteria was needed.

I’ve updated my classifieds post, but I’ve decided to make my basement a sort of space-dream type place. I’m going to save up as many star fragments as I can, and am looking for these recipes (or someone who can craft these recipes for me when I get star fragments).

Galaxy flooring
Lunar surface
Star clock
Starry garland
Nova light
Moon
Flying saucer
Crescent moon chair
Crewed spaceship
Astronaut suit

I’m pretty excited about it, but I expect it to take a long time due to the scarcity of Celeste’s visits. Any invited to meteor showers gladly appreciated. If it’s possible for visitors to get recipes from Celeste (anyone know?) then invites to pop over and say hi to her also much appreciated.

I have been thinking about that, but the only reason I want 5 stars is the cute flowers, Im ok for now with trying to make pink and purple tulips but will probably try at some point

mimi I have the recipy for the flying saucer, but don't have the star bits to make it
I am looking out for a meteor shower and when it happens I will invite everyone like Rick did the other day
I think my able sisters are selling a space helmet today though (as a hat) if you would like me to get you that?

Of that list, the only one I think I have is the astronaut suit, so I can craft that if need be.

A random villager will start building at 8am, 12pm, 5pm and possibly 8pm. So you can get four per day that way. If you visit other islands at those times you can pick up more.

I like to follow Dimrill around because he’s really good at snuffling out the crafting villager in other towns.

Look at ma roooom! Obviously I have not begun tidying up yet and have to get some discs stuff, but look at the way it moves. The stars look very different to-dayyyyyyy!

@Miki

Miki, loved visiting Charming tonight! You’re island looks so different from last time! This is the diamond forMation I use for my flowers, and I think Dimrill might have used as well. There are many variations on this and I know that there is a lot of disagreement, but I get a good hybrid rate with this and it looks pleasing.

I use a 3x3 square laid out like a five on a die. So if you're going for pink lillies, for instance, you have the white one in the middle with a red on each diagonal. Or vice versa. That leaves four spaces for hybrids to appear.

Your girls were over at my town yesterday too, TheVision. They are extremely lovely.

You can do the museum tour again each day and get more plaques, and fill your house with them :D

Yes, exactly the same. Worth barely anything (300 bells) but I enjoyed it anyway, because I like the plaques, the stamp station comments amuse me (they move each day) and any flares will likely make nice islander gifts.

I think mine will probably spike Weds or Thurs at around 200 bells.

If predictor is anything to go by.

It was lovely to meet you Abeille! Happy to help!

@sdg CJ is the fish obsessed beaver he holds fishing tournaments and buys your fish for a better price, like Flick does for bugs

@Devilman, I thought you couldnt sell to Flick and CJ on other islands?
