I am also Vicky but my villager's name is Pippy so we wont have too much confusion haha.
I don't know where pippy came from but I do know its what I have always called my villager since the day Jem bought me a DS so I could play wild world. Thanks Jem :P

I like the name Pippy for a villager. That sounds very suitable. Pippy Pineapple :)

Arbeille I hope you feel better soon! is there anything I can get ready for you? Do you have all the fruits? Need iron or tools?

Also apologies for getting my wires crossed and sending some stuff to anonymousX, please enjoy them or sell them :D

(Today quite feeling quite trashy too, but that might have something to do with drinking too much cuarenta tres liquor... i did became 43)

Isabella announced a falling star rain tonight btw . So my gates will be opened after 8 (21bst’) or something

The gate has been open all morning, but as the forum was down, I'll leave it open a little while longer if anyone wants to pop by. Nothing too exciting to report today

I have invested in turnips (60,000 bells!) in the hope we can maybe make enough to get a third room for Darwin’s house, for which he is super-keen. If anybody gets a decent turnip price in the coming week, please say. :)

We've just bought turnips for the first time ever. I'm trying to teach my girls about the profit that can be made.

97 bells each so we bought 80. 7760 bells.

I'm going to be a wreck this week checking the prices every day!

Turnips are 110 so I didn't bother this week.

Not at all :) It's why I leave the gate open for long periods - it gives people something else to browse once they've exhausted the stuff on their own island for the day. I might need to make a bit more space for it soon though :D

I have caught the blue bug, after seeing it and missing it like 20 times
and the violin beetle several times
and a load of water bugs

checking the list I actually have caught at least one of each except a normal spider - which Im not very sad about
I wish the scorpions would not appear on my own island, it has made me feel icky and jumpy walking around in the dark - stupid I know, but the running and attacking really pokes my anxiety
I have caught three so far on my own island but also three have caught me and ugh

edit: missing loads of fish

Yep. Got mine queued up for statuehood. I only have three stumps and they're all next to each other. Very easy to spot em then.

They shouldn’t attack you if you don’t have your net out.

Of course after making that last post I caught the blue tree stump beetle.

I can’t quite wrap my brain around how much that turnip haul is worth in bells? Is it over a million?

I had a cute little turnip patch like that, with tilled earth, but I’ve got mine in the basement at the moment as I thought turnips were counted negatively in town evaluations. Is that still the case? I’m not sure if that matters to me, either, other than I’d like a few more lily of the valley.

What are folks doing with their gold roses? I’d like to keep mine as an easily harvestable source of bells, but they are so ugly.

I think item drops can lower town evaluations so it depends on your AC goals :)

It's 500,000+ worth.

rn, my main objective is to become a bellionaire several times over. I estimated the cost of making my town how I want it, and it's not cheap lol.

Really? Goodness. I look forwards to seeing it.

I think I still play AC like the GC version. I just sort of mope about, visit the trees, go fishing, see what my buds are up to... I kind of like things pared down and with lots of space.

Same here. My main aim with Flump is to make it accessible and easy to get around. I was a little miffed that there's an 8-incline limit as I wanted to add a few more here and there.
