I've bought an awful lot of stuff over the last month or so, and finally got around to getting it all up and running:

When I last bought an office chair, I was pretty skint so had to settle for a cheapish one from Ryman. Needed to replace it so it was nice to be able to afford a better one this time around.

As modelled by Yoshi:

I spent a good while nosing at various chairs; I know someone who could get me a decent discount on one from Noble, but considering the model I'd need to support my weight, even with the discount, the one I went for was cheaper anyway.

I got my exciting holley jet kit so I can adjust fuel mixtures under load. Unfortunately it causes cancer but that's the price we pay.

If anyone's looking for a pair of wireless headphones and doesn't mind spending a few bob, I'll just give a shout out for these fellas, which are phenomenally good. (You don't have to take my word for it, they've won all the awards.)

Sony WH-1000XM3

Amazon are currently knocking them out for £244 (reduced from £330). I felt like a bit of a twat spending that much on a pair of headphones, but five minutes wearing them and I was satisfied they were worth every penny.

The noise cancelling is eerily good, they go plenty loud without any distortion with wonderful sound quality across all music genres, the app is slick and everything about them behaves itself perfectly.

They are basically just for use with a phone though, (which I knew before I bought them), you can't do much with them without the app and Bluetooth pairing, although there is a 3.5mm connector if you wish to go down that route.

It's *the* ring. It's not a corona-induced engagement, but only got hold of the ring yesterday.

Don’t worry, nobody is judging you for getting panic-engaged :D. It must have been a while if it was pre-‘these days’ *gestures around, vaguely*.

Thanks all. It was indeed a while ago now. We got engaged a couple of days after Myp and Sally's wedding, but I didn't want to take the wind out of their sails so we agreed to keep it quiet until I had a ring. We picked it up yesterday. :)
