5/10 reviews as far as I can tell, which is a shame. I'd love a good rugby game.

I played the GameCube and DS versions a bit but they were very similar and after a while I got a bit bored with them. Is this any different?

Sadly yeah. The one at mum's has been fine. My one at home has been a total ballache. I forgot that my mental stability is closely linked to the stability of my PC, so I got a windfall and bought a new one. I've donated a PC to a LAN place that helps people recovering from cancer, sent my Titan XP to a mate who is at home after his kid coughed at school (so he's skint) and gave a bike to another pal.

Timing is great, because I was pretty skint and HL Alyx is coming soon.

As of now? yeah. I want HL Alyx though.

There was a game I saw recently kinda like Portal that looked good, but really not enough to make me want to spend that sort of money on a headset for it.

So you spend well over four grand on stuff for a game that has no reviews yet? Let’s see how that tactic has worked out for you in other instances.

Well at least they're showing gameplay and it looks very good. Unlike Fallout 76 which was just smoke and mirrors. And lots of lies.

I've not pre ordered the game itself yet. Not sure you even can. I've been playing Black Mesa Xen absolutely loads though. Forgot to add that.

I don't think I've ever played a bad valve game either.

No, no, VR is awful. You had a DK2 Rift and some hack plugin for your PC and it wasn't good on the single game your cared about so VR is just totally terrible. If you're quick you can probably get your money back now I've reminded you of the truth.

I wasn't using a hack plugin. I used the rift store.

Lucky's tale was great. Not as good as astro bot on psvr. But since playing the small handful of games worth playing on psvr it too has sat gathering dust.

I'm also pretty sure when HL alyx is over that will also be resigned to the dust pile.

IIRC I didn't say vr was awful. I said it was basic and simplistic (like bat and ball) and there wasn't enough games for it. And I was right whether you like that or not.

It's been how long? And we're just getting a AAA vr game.

TBH? This isn't even about vr. It's about waiting god knows how long to play the next installment of half life. If I hadn't got lucky I wouldn't be playing it, and I'd be a bit gutted.

Had it ages and ages. I posted about it here.

Not sure where the post went. I never used Vorpx. I thought about it, but their "discount" vanished every time I went to buy it and they wanted stupid money for it.

Shame, because Fallout 4 looked quite nice even on the DK2, but alas Bethesda never fulfilled their promise of controller support.
