Lotso Goo Stüffe. Bit concerned that the museaumaum doesn't unlock until later in the game though. I expect having large areas of jarred insects and feeesh sitting around my island.

We can't answer all of those questions categorically until we post our own review, but we can give you the world's first review score for the game, which has been posted in esteemed Japanese magazine Famitsu.

The famous publication – which has a panel of four reviewers who each score the game out of 10 and then add up the scores for the total out of 40 – has awarded New Horizons 38 out of a possible 40. Two reviewers gave it a 9, while the other two gave it a 10.

That's still an incredible score but it means New Horizons misses out on that coveted 'perfect score', which Famitsu has granted to just 26 games in its entire history. These include The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time, The Legend of Zelda: The Wind Waker, The Legend of Zelda: Skyward Sword, The Legend of Zelda: Breath of the Wild, Super Smash Bros. Brawl, New Super Mario Bros. Wii and Kid Icarus: Uprising.

Fucking lulz.

And fucking Double lulz Skyward Sword.

And infinite lulz for New Super Mario Bros Wii.

No lulz for Kid Icarus: Uprising.

That's a brilliant game and I had no idea that Famitsu felt the same. I feel justified in my years of campaigning for its greatness now.

It is indeed a quite interesting selection, quite different from e.g. the famous EDGE 10 list.. which justifiably included Advance Wars after overlooking it for year (where's that famitsu?)..

Kid icarus remains nice though

Back semi on topic, i just got a wiiU through a fortune cookie in New leaf, and that allowed me to play desert island escape.. which i had played on Ammibo festival once... but appears to have been included in the welcome amiibo update 4 years ago.. yeah! https://animalcrossing.fandom.com/wiki/ ... and_Escape

Interesting reflection on the animal crossing series and how it developed.. quite a few of the reommendations seem to be followed by nintendo

1.Overview
https://www.reddit.com/r/NintendoSwitch ... nd_future/

2. Customistions
https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comme ... nd_future/

3. Visuals
https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comme ... nd_future/

4. Interactivity
https://www.reddit.com/r/nintendo/comme ... nd_future/

(although in the 4th part he sort of misses how vulnerable the balance is between 'developing a relation with one of your neighbors', and pocket camps transitional relations

Depending on how the spread of corona virus goes we’re probably going to cancel our order at Smyths (to save having to pick it up) and get it from the online store instead.

It might be a bit more but it will be safer.

Pre-order round up!

Game have it up for 50 quid but for a penny. With a "free" shitty bag!

ShopTo has it for £42.85 with a free keyring of evil Tom Nook, who shall be first against the wall come the revolution.

Simply Games has it for a quid cheaper at £41.85 with an Isabelle keyring. Much more nicerer.

The Game Collection has it for just under £40 with no extras. now includes an Isabelle pin badge for £42.95

365 Games Another £43 ish but with a KK Slider pin badge.

Smyths for £45 with a notepad. £5 cheaper if bought instore.

Scumazon £45 of pure tax avoiding bastardness.

Ah I see! Thank you for re-posting. I may have confused things earlier as when I said ‘buy from t online store’ I meant the one built into the switch. Hence my question.

You lot are making me want this. I remember putting a load of time into the 3DS version but I'm not sure I'm ready to commit to this one yet.

Um, well, with the upcoming Isolation Challenge (worst viral challenge yet, folks) what was previously an unknown gaming series looks very tempting to me. The only catch is I have to buy a Switch. This is really tempting as I had originally been planning on buying a new camera, but with my out-and-about gig/theatre/dance photography routine about to be drastically curtailed it seems I need to spend my hard-earned beans on something else.

So, this Animal Crossing then? If I buy it will I be able to join you in cavorting around your islands and inviting you over and generally sharing the warm fuzzy love? Because if so, that £329 Animal Crossing special Switch Edition from GAME looks mighty tempting.
