Anyone going on Hunted? I have given it some thought and on bulk transit options. I got a map of the canal network and just asked my contact in the WI if she knows any screen printers as having it on silk would be great. She knows of a blind screen printer they use for all their covert ops. I replied that this definately sounds like someone the WI could use in a jam.

I'm having lunch in the car park at an M&S in Ashton-under-Lyne.

A little oldish lady in a Toyota has just parked in the space next to me. As she turned into the space, she was revving the fuck out of her engine and I thought she might slip her clutch and scream off. Instead, she didn't turn in sharply enough and scraped the side of a Saab on the other side of the space. She had a genuine look of terror on her face as she realised what was happening. She then reversed out, and I thought she might be going to do a runner, but I think she just wanted to see how much damage she'd done as she then drove back in, but without doing more damage.

I'm gonna move to another space before she comes back and drives out.

No, I'm not there now.

Now at M62 Birch Services East to perform a bit of meaningless ritual, i. e. a preventative maintenance visit for a tiny store with two tills.

Anyway, what type of fizzy pop and why is it important that they're on a display unit?

Just remembered: same thing happened at Handforth Dean a few months ago. Different little old lady and different cars, but the same scenario.

I'm dealing with double danger, but I think the former is better. Denial looks too desperate, even if you are indifferent.

Is there a term for the awkward silence following a pub band's attempt at audience participation by leaving out the hook line of a song? I could use it right now.

It isn't a bad end of the world, and I'd be happy if it were to be the end of my world.

Might get settled, many need saving here.

I appear to have pulled a muscle in my leg after the sole of my slipper that is hanging off got caught on the top of a stair and I fell upwards. I have since repaired them brilliantly. So brilliantly, Daniel Day Lewis called to tell me he has given up cobbling.

Today I am lunching in Macclesfield, not far from where I did quite a lot of calls for NATCEN when I was freelancing for them.

Every time I work in any of these areas, I still feel the same unease and nervousness that I did before I knocked on someone's door.

Oddly enough, I'm only a hundred yards from a flat where a really hot young lady agreed to take part in the Sexual Attitudes Survey. She worked in healthcare and was really impressed by the device we used for females to supply a sample of wee.

There's a video attached to this article on the Beeb showing massive queues of people wanting to obtain face masks in South Korea's Daegu city. Considering that face masks are not much protection, standing in close proximity to hundreds of people is probably not very wise.

Sacrilege of the highest order, I note. It makes sense, replacing church pews does definitely feel on a par with, say, the sacking of Lindisfarne.

Yeah but they'll only need, like 20000 dogs to eat those ducks, 5000 Tigers to eat those dogs, 1000 sharks-with-legs to eat those Tigers and just 1 DNA resurrected mega-T-Rex to finish off the leggy sharks. It sorts itself out.

Nope, but the student from Hong Kong we were hosting during half-term ( from a British boarding school ) was saying that she plans to clear out the post office queue by just standing there and coughing really loudly without covering her mouth. It would probably work pretty well.

My team in Hong Kong have been under enforced Work from Home for a month. Some are going a touch stir crazy given the size of HK flats.

Others are just enjoying working in empty bars and coffee shops.
