My parents’ local used to have a bar billiards table. I played it every time I went in. Then they got rid to put in another table. Animals.

People at work have started to use the phrase "Straw Man" to mean "first draft" or "initial version" - e.g. "I'll send round a Straw man document for people to read and give feedback." It irks me. Irks, I say!

One of my colleagues keeps telling prospective clients that we're very much a part of our other clients' blockchain, when really he means supply chain - and every time he says it I want to club him upside the head with a welding mallet.

Thanks guys, it's uncomfortable today rather than painful. I was just starting to get frustrated with it.

Getting as far as "select seats" on the Tranmere Rovers website after hitting reload for an hour to be reminded there is a kid's birthday party at that time so you couldn't have gone anyway. They have Beaverton on tap,as well.

You mock this, but it is unfathomable to me why a PS4 won't play a CD.

Was it the first or second PlayStation that had this thing where it would do a visual representation of the music when you got it to play a CD? Man that was many hours watching flashing lights in time to a Faithless track.

Joint, Faithless, and set FIFA '98 up so the CPU could play against itself for an hour

Close the lid on a MacBook air and it blinks out of reality for a week before reappearing as you move the magazines to the recycling.

Grandad told BigOne the parental lock numbers for Netflix. BigOne likes to grandstand (yeah) and informed us, so I reckon we can change it once.

Might cut grandad off the Netflix.
