I don't think it's an intranet if it's on the internet.

I've been sent a link, username and password to access their intranet. I don't know what I was expecting but it's not very exciting.... They will pay for a meal while you're training though.

Also, the training coordinator who sent the email has put her signature at the bottom of the email 5 times. All exactly the same. Efficient!

Turn up, do a promotional video, then charge them.

Seems that Myp lost his belt to Josh Barnett.

How does this keep happening? This must be the third different Ross Taylor who has been using my email address?!?

Quote:
Good Morning A & C Staff

As you know My Life and Alocura manage the PHB for both A & C and ensure the payroll is accurately processed. Rita who you may have been contacting has moved on to pastures new. I have copied in Lynn who is overseeing your payroll and Ian Clegg who has taken Rita’s post (Copied in). Lynn has received all of your timesheets which we obviously need to cross reference with the rota – which is out of date, so if anyone could send me an updated version please could you do this as a matter of urgency.

We need to arrange to visit you all as we have some minor changes being introduced with timesheets which I need to explain – we are more than happy to meet a lead person and the information can be cascaded across the team. *Vicky I can keep you in the loop via email but we need to visit the team asap as it needs to be implemented as soon as possible before we go fully electronic!

I also need to touch base with your training needs as a team as part of the PHB 6 month review – we have a new Clinical Lead Pam Hicken who will overseeing your PHB along with colleagues Clare and Nigel who we need to arrange to meet in the next week or so.

This is really to keep you all in the loop and to touch base with you – there are some other things we may be able to help you with which we can have a chat about when we meet.

Best wishes

Caroline

Nope. In recent months I've had an estate agent in New Zealand, an American Express check in in Boulder in the States, an HR department of a paint shop in East Sussex, An HR department for a cleaning job and now this which is based in Wigan.

I'd be very surprised if it was the same person but if it is, fair play to them. They get about a bit!

My old MD was Ross Taylor. And there’s a New Zealand cricketer. Common as muck.

One of our clients has a customer that apparently really struggles to type in their email address correctly when ordering things. Addresses changed for obvious reasons, but in the list there was:

blitzyshits@hotmail,co.uk
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]
[email protected]

I have a new Mancunian doppleganger who has signed up for an adult dating site with my email address.
I was very tempted to update his preferences from women under 30 to men over 50, but then realised that any notifcations would only come to me anyway, so I settled for removing my address from the account.

That email. I mean, you got a touch base, a matter of urgency, pastures new, in the loop, cascade. I think I'd just call him a **** and be done with it. Making it clear that the worst offence is the capital C on Copied.

We have another email this morning!

Quote:
Good Morning All,

I hope you are well,

Just wondered if it would be okay to show someone the property tomorrow afternoon at 4.30pm please?

Thank you

I'm going to say that it's absolutely fine but you'll have to excuse the mess as I was creating a Chocobo cosplay over the weekend and got a bit enthusiastic with the feathers.

That's fine, but I have a terrible memory, so could you print this email out to remind me when you come round.
PS, I'd prefer it nice and early.

Hey not-Bluecup, when you submit your proposal for a book titled "The Banyamulenge Soldier: Genocide and Identity in the Congo" maybe provide the publisher with the correct email address so when they come back saying that they are interested then you will get the message.

Someone is using an email address that ends in one of my catchalls for Change.org.

They sign some fucking odd stuff, most notably https://www.change.org/p/athawng-get-at ... rry-missie . What the fuck is that even about?

[edit] To save you a click, it says "get athawng to marry missie". And that's it.

If that’s the username they use for other things it’s not a massive stretch to expect they’d have a similar email address. Maybe davpaz76 instead of [email protected] and they forgot the numbers.

Just been offered editing rights to a church's shared spreadsheet holding its events calendar. I've politely declined the opportunity to give myself top billing every Sunday.

So far this morning I have apparently...

Ordered some tights
Ordered a wig
Ordered some socks
Setup a paypal account
Setup an amazon account

I'm guessing by the multiple one time password requests for amazon, he is starting to realise that he doesn't own the email address he is using...
I've got his mobile number though, so i've sent him a text, let's see if he responds.

I don’t think they took well to your text.
