I used to have that exact pattern of sofa cover! You are clearly a man of fine taste, JC.

Before I get berated for having nice things whilst not working I'll point out that my ex wife bought it. Like a lot of the other stuff I have that's nice. She was the one with expensive taste.

When we split she got a new flat and came around whilst I was out with removal men and took what she wanted. I guess the sofa wouldn't fit or something IDK.

She paid a small fortune for it. Had to have the most expensive colour, with the flipped cushions etc. I just did what most blokes would do, stood there and just nodded.

No point arguing haha but yeah, I do like it.

The Binding of Isaac:Rebirth plus the Afterbirth expansion

Although I've got it on Steam and Switch, I'm spending more time on the Xbox One these days, so decided to buy it again and it'll give me the opportunity to go through unlocking everything again. I was going to wait till it came on sale at some point, but as I'm off work this week, I figured I'd treat myself :)

Haven't you already played like a billion hours on it? Or am I thinking of someone else?

Yeah, that was me. I put 386 hours into the original game and then a further 975 hours into the remake, Rebirth. That was to unlock absolutely everything though and I doubt I'll have the patience to do that again.

Good choice! I've been enjoying this over the last few weeks. So odd to dispatch US police to a gun fight in the middle of Lichfield. :S

Ah is that out? I pre ordered it for a fiver when Epic were doing their silly £10 off any game offer. Will give it a go this weekend.

<220> on a Switch Lite and Captain Toad. My upcoming trips to Galway and Tenerife finally broke my resolve (plus the alcohol I had consumed). I'm still not entirely sure I'll get a lot of use out of it, but now I can find out for sure rather than continually wondering.

Related question: how much do I need an SD card for it?

No idea without looking at the onboard storage specs. I ran out of space on my OG Switch quite quickly though.

32GB onboard apparently. I'll probably leave it for the moment as I'm only going to have one or two games initially.

It’ll soon disappear if you buy indie games etc on the eShop, but I’d wait until it becomes a pain deleting things

IIRC, the system software eats some amount of that 32 GB. I found myself getting a memory card fairly soon after. You don’t need a big one, though. Even another 32 GB goes a fairly long way. Depending on if you’re getting small indie games or bigger Nintendo 1P releases, anyway.

The only thing I've got my eye on at the moment is Untitled Goose Game which is only about a GB apparently so I'll be fine for a while.

<43.90> PC/PS2 Light Gun. I do miss the old light gun games and this one works with modern TVs, PC emulators and is G-Con2 compatible. Unfortunately I spent an hour messing around trying to get MAME running and eventually managed to get Operation Wolf running, but the aim of the gun was some way off - need to figure out the calibration options more I guess. In the meantime, I've ordered Virtua Cop for the PS2 instead <9.70>.

Not with the gun I've bought, no - it's GCon 2, not 1, so the only compatible games are -

Crisis Zone
GunCom 2 [EU] (AKA Death Crimson OX [JP])
Dino Stalker [US] (AKA Gun Survivor 3: Dino Crisis [JP])
Endgame (US/EU)
Gunfighter II: Revenge of Jesse James (EU)
Gunvari Collection + Time Crisis (JP)
Ninja Assault [JP/EU]
Resident Evil: Dead Aim [US] (AKA Gun Survivor 4 Biohazard Heroes Never Die [JP])
Resident Evil Survivor 2 Code: Veronica [EU/JP]
Starsky & Hutch (coop mode only)
Time Crisis II
Time Crisis 3
Vampire Night [EU/JP/US]
Virtua Cop: Elite Edition

There's an upcoming one http://www.sindenlightgun.com/ that would do it, but I'm guessing it's via a PC running a playstation emulator.

I did not get on with BLOPS4 at all but I really enjoyed the beta of this one (on a launchday PS4) - and you can pretty much guarantee its going to get cheaper if you can wait a little while

It's on the Xbox PC thing which is £1. I might give it a go.

Personally I'd say no because it's about tracking how much you're spending for yourself on this hobby of yours. Like if I bought, I dunno, a camera for someone as a present then I'm not going to be all, "Welp, better start tracking my photography spend I suppose."

But really it makes bugger all difference to anyone so you do you.
