Honestly no spam, i had not had car insurance for 16 years. One of you could have recommended a broker, if not, i will just go through the usual methods.

I usually get decent results from Compare the Market, and obviously you get a pointless plushy for the kid too. Enough of a differentiator for me.

Cheers..

it has been that way. Been looking for months, this one ticks the boxes. Other than miles being a tad high.

Just all the shit that goes with it. Trying to get the company that looks after my company car, to issue a proof of driving / no claims, but they don't have complete records. Then got to get the finance company to pay for the car. Then arrange for my company car to go back, then they will instruct my employers that my car has gone back, so the car allowance can added to my wage on the 21st. Then my tax needs to be adjusted as my tax code is set at company car level.....

You don't have to read this thread.

Honestly, I know the piss taking and "top bantz" are par for the course both on here and the internet as a whole, but if someone's already said they're having a hard time, just fucking stop it. There's really no need to be a dick.

We have to be careful, the forum software has a new thread quota, if we go over it, we have to pay £3 a month, not the current £2.

Which forum was it where Hearthly took stick for not creating new threads for movies instead of moaning about how hard it was to find stuff in the movie thread?

Can there be a new thread for each of Hearthly’s car purchases, or will that overload the server? Or can you just add more layers?

Seriously, a comparison/cashback combination is a good shout. My referral link to Top Cashback:

https://www.topcashback.co.uk/ref/jbr

I search there for car insurance, use topcashback compare insurance, maybe also one of the other comparators that has a link on there, have a quick check that it isn't cheaper to go direct without the cash back (so far - never), then go that way. Smidge cheaper.

I get that... Sometimes it all just feels overwhelming. I've had occasions like that, where I've wished it would all go away and I've stuffed it up, like when I got a hefty fine for not doing my tax return. It all gets a bit much sometimes.

I also check confused.com, compare the market and go compare. I save all of my details in them so it just takes a few minutes to check every year.

You'll get it sorted. You're on it. :)
