A friend of mine keeps seeing Sansa Stark in Sainsbury's.

I have no idea why that is relevant, or needed saying, but I just wanted to be involved.

So, I became aware of the term "edge computing" today. Isn't this just what used to be called "computing"? You IT people and your buzzwords.

I had sort of hoped it meant computing right up to the point of completion but then stopping :)

It's a form of cloud computing (which is a form of computing) but geographically nearer to the user. That allows it to get the information back faster.

GoT didn’t lose a writer. They just ran out of existing material.

More dwarf fax!
Alan Rickman auditioned for the part of Rimmer, as did Alfred Molina. Rickman was also interested in playing Lister.

That would have been a very different show, eh?

I'm not bothered either way... I'd sleep with it shut or open. I also sleep with the curtains open sometimes.

To stop the wolves and other predators from getting into your cave, I’d guess. Also, my bedroom curtains are heavier than the ones in the rest of the house so it stops light leaking in from the pesky 4:30am morning.

I’m teaching Darwin (3) about body privacy at the moment. At the same time we are also learning about trees in our walks to nursery. At the same time Darwin seems to have woken up to how stunningly beautiful his mummy is and how she dresses so fine.

So, this has all got a bit confused. He knows that a woman’s chest should be private. But it also got a bit confused with the naming of trees. And how we wear clothes, so he keeps saying things like: ‘mummy, I love your rainbow jumper. It is so beautiful and so soft when you wear it on your big chestnuts’.

Related, I've just discovered that there exists a genderflipped remake of What Women Want called (shockingly) What Men Want.

How is this a thing? Most male thoughts are Boobs, Football, Food anyway, right chaps? *Tim Allen Noise*
