Yikes. Fuck that.

I think he means it's gone into the title screen for adverts, but then straight back into the show. That's my experience anyway.

Sometimes it does that, other times it plays up to 5 adverts (including the Volvo bumpers).

Annoyed I miss the Britian v France ice hockey game yesterday. Watching the highlights it appears I missed an exciting and historic match. Never has coming last in a competition been such an achievement. I'm tempted to go to Switzerland next year now to see a game in next year's tournament.

It gets more real as you get older. This is one of the disadvantages you have to manage when you're a mobile technician.

This was the total haul of stuff from the weekend of sport. MrsA got her 5km, then one for an untimed fun run with kids, and as she had done two events, got the remix medal! Boo.

I sat next to a famous person on Friday afternoon for about an hour and spoke with them as well.

Nope. We were at All Points East music festival in Hackney. I assume they got their tickets for free as I don’t think they left the VIP area all day. “They” are not a musician

I've had exactly two celebrity spottings in five years in London, and one of those arguably doesn't count. Perhaps I am just unobservant. Or I don't live/work in sufficiently hip parts of the city.

1) I saw Johnny Vegas on the train.
2) Out walking in Victoria Park with a local greyhound group, we apparently walked past Masie Williams. I didn't see her but she took a picture of us. Reverse celebrity spotting for the win.

Not hip, just near tv production companies, publishers, studios, radio stations
Soho (and Mayfair, Bloomsbury, Fitzrovia surrounding it) has all of those, the south bank has several studios, Camden has several production companies and studios.
