Thanks to folks flogging complete issues of WH40k Conquest on eBay I'm now awaiting the arrival of Lord Felthius and his dirty cohorts (Issue 19) and scenery crates / barrels / cases (issue 20) for just over £12 - RRP £35

Made a gaming board for kill team out of one of the pieces of plasticard that was going to be skipped at work.

Cut it to the dimensions of the table top we've been using (90cm x 90cm) so it's almost twice as wide and a wee bit longer than the board that comes with the Kill Team box set (55cm x 76).

I sanded the board surface to give the undercoat a key and while the paint was still wet I sprinkled on two types of basing sand, one course and one fine. When this dried I went over with a dilute mix of black acrylic paint and went over again with grey and white undercoat spray. Might go over the lot with matt varnish to seal it all a bit more.

I love these. Smooth finishing. The green works amazingly well as the armour colour.

Realised my board pic above is now out of date. Had to darken it a lot as it looked too light compared to my buildings. Painted up lots more bits recently (ammo crates, barrels, armoured container) so I'll get some pics taken.

Also: Tufts!

Pretty. If you're after a nice wrecked Rhino, issue 27 of Conquest has the chassis sprue attached to it. I picked one up to use as the base for this that I plan on buying at some point.

Ah, it seams eBayers are selling the issues for more than a Rhino costs.

It is. I got my copy from Forbidden Planet last week. I ordered it along with 33, which'll be plasma conduits (still to be delivered).

Pretty much done with these, just some bits around the lights / keypads on the container to do.

Honestly, I don't know. I can't remember the last five years in detail. I've been living day to day and sometimes minute to minute to get through it. I've been drowning a long time hoping to take a good lungful and drift off.

Ta, there's a local model shop that's started carrying some Citadel stuff but choice is fairly limited.

I'm not sure if I have, I think I found out that he was blocking me, and then I think I asked why (I don't know how I did that if I was being blocked) and had a conversation with him after I was unblocked and then found myself being blocked again. But that might have all been a dream, or I might have been drunk or anything. If it is true, and did/said something to offend/annoy then I'm sorry!

Lonewolves used to be Myp. But isn't anymore. He's in the witness protection scheme because he saw Noel Edmonds murdering a rival TV presenter. Oops. Probably shouldn't have said that.
