Watched the OA liked it a lot
Watched Luther S5 liked it a lot
Watched Titans, thought it was alright but season finale sucked
Watched The Sinner in the wrong order, Season 2 was listed before Season 1 but they have no relation so it didn't matter. each season is a separate case where we know who done it but the detective wants to find out why they done it. Interesting, S2 was slightly better I think, S1 was quite slow on some episodes and we are suddenly confronted with detectives kinky extramarital sex life, oh well
Documentary about Maddy McCann was surprisingly well done and interesting

Currently watching: The Order, easy to watch magic/werewolf monster thingy
Currently watching with Steve: Glitch, australian series about 7 ppl climbing out of their grave for no understandable reason after having been in that grave ranging from 150 - 2 years. Its quirky and interesting but a bit slow after the first few episodes
Currently watching with child: Skin wars, body painting contest

TBH I was such a dickhead in the earlier days of BEEX I'm surprised any of you still even give me the time of day. I occasionally have to go rooting through old threads to find a reference for something in the here and now and I often cringe (and I mean properly fucking cringe) when I read some of what I came out with back then.

I try to be a better person these days, I had some shit to work through.

This might cause Hearthly to explode, but has anyone watched Hannah? I keep seeing adverts for it all over London.

Ii'll wait for it to be on Netflix.

I've seen the adverts but seen fuck all about it online. Prime really does seem to be the ginger stepchild.

I have this link bookmarked to keep an eye on the stuff getting added to Netflix and Amazon Prime and Amazon just seem to go massively in for the quantity-over-quality approach. Loads of tat I've never heard of, with the occasional bit of good stuff (the Rocky films were added the other day for instance). That said, I'm now curious to see how bad the Double Dragon film is.

I use Prime a fair bit but I can't remember the last thing I went out of my way to watch. We tend to just put a film on while we have a takeaway on a Saturday night.

Vikings was alright though.

Amazon have started buying things up of Netflix. Expanse, for example.

Agents of Shield suddenly left Prime the other day, when we j hit the middle of season 3. The *bastards*.

The Expanse wasn't a Netflix exclusive. It was a SyFy show that Netflix had the UK distribution rights for. SyFy cancelled it and Amazon bought it, which is quite unusual of course. But Amazon didn't buy it off Netflix.

Is it possible Amazon might resurrect it?

Not at all, what I wrote was ambiguous.

Amazon saved the whole show: https://www.theverge.com/2018/5/26/1737 ... four-saved

I like to imagine Bezos (who is reportedly a fan of the books and the adaptation) just phone up Prime Video and said "I'm not done watching that. Make it un-cancelled immediately. Here is a blank check."

I didn't literally mean ringing Netflix up and asking to buy stuff. We've found a few things we like on Netflix transfer to prime for continuation.

Agents of shield was another one, Netflix had a season then we found prime had all five. Except now it's not included with Prime anymore as we' got exactly half way through, the fucks.

I'm watching the first one of Hannah, it's well made but very slow. It's also very dark, not in a subject matter way, in a what the fuck is going on, why won't somebody turn on a fucking light so you have vague chance of seeing something, way.

Must have learned it from FOX MULDER. ‘Scully, there’s something previously unbeknownst to science lurking in this warehouse!’

‘What is it?!’

‘Don’t know. It’s reeeeaaally dark’.

Probably budget reasons. Saving on special effects.

Fox Mulder was very beautiful, but he never said goodbye when he hung up the phone, which is, I think, the only reason we are not married.

Two episodes in now, second episode was a little brighter and actually watchable at times. I'm quite enjoying it actually, despite that. The actress who plays Hanna is great, and it has the dude from altered carbon in too.
