I've been getting multiple emails from different estate agents regarding sales and rentals of different properties.
House people in particular seem to be pretty bad at email addresses.

Good for you. Sticking it to the man by being entirely passive while your data is sent to some random.

It’s okay. You only need to help a small amount. And maybe some packing. And destroying a wooden house. And something to do with the trampoline we took down that has subsequently sat in my garage rusting for several years.

I feel like the trampoline has been over-egged because the two of you were there doing that, while I dissembled the bunk bed alone, which turned out to be surprisingly sturdy for flat-pack furniture and involved somewhere between ten and fifteen thousand screws.

Shit, I’d give you POTW if that was still a thing.

I wanted to see if this still worked, so I PMd the post, removed the original recipient, added Beex Weeker, and sent it off, ready to have a good giggle when whoever it was (I had a feeling it was Mali) got the PM, and idly wondered if anything would be posted tomorrow afternoon.

I bounced back to the homepage and saw I had one new message.

Shit.

The trampoline was designed not to come apart and, let me remind you, by that point it was FUCKING DARK.

Trampolines come with a tool for pulling springs, FYI.

Clearly, as Craster was there.

Pretty sure I had a tool at some point. Had probably packed it though, along with all the other things I had packed. Which was definitely some of the things.

I’m a bad person.

I think in this case, a reciprocating saw and a metal destruction blade would have been more fun, no?

We had a reciprocating saw, but it had a wood blade in.

I don't remember if I bought any other blades with me.

Does a reciprocating saw use the owner to saw other things?

My doppelgänger has bought a Vauxhall Corsa so I know his car’s registration, and a dominos pizza online so I have his home address.
In more recent news, someone who I assume is his boyfriend has just sent me an email giving me control of his Nest thermostats.

I won’t as it’s a criminal offence, but I could run up a huge gas bill for them.

You can change the name of things in their Nest app to let them know.

Well, this is new and exciting, it's not everyday you get an email from the US military.

"June RSP Drill T2T and Training Schedule (UNCLASSIFIED)"

I've told them I can't make it, as it's too late notice to book a flight.

Apparently I'm due to start a new position at Brewers on the 9th July. Brewers sell paint apparently?

I've been sent a link, username and password to access their intranet. I don't know what I was expecting but it's not very exciting.... They will pay for a meal while you're training though.

Also, the training coordinator who sent the email has put her signature at the bottom of the email 5 times. All exactly the same. Efficient!
