She stops being a love interest.

Any way, The Umbrella Academy is ace. If you have kids, it's a bit like the Mysterious Benedict Society but for grown ups and with added heroin.

I’ve only watched two, but it seems to be 50 minutes of mediocre, with a fascinating last 5.

Watched one and a bit then gave up on it. It's just irritating, "come, come listen to some plinky plonk incidental music and marvel at the amazing world we have crafted". I dunno it's probably fine but it just grated with me.

I must be misremembering then. I don't even remember you being on the train when I watched it!

It does its cliffhangers very well although it does have a habit of then having nothing happen until the next cliffhanger (probably my only real criticism of it)

Answer to that specific question

ZOMG Spoiler! Click here to view!
In the Series I'm pretty sure its never mentioned however he is in the comics - the only real backstory we get about Reg is one flashback sequence with the Violin

Holy shit this is good, like, REALLY good.

Why aren't more people talking about it?

We need to get the word out for BARRY 'cause it's amazeballs.

Hard to get hold of though. Not on Amazon or Netflix, and not complete on Usenet (the single upload that's on there, even the mighty TweakNews failed).

Fortunately we share a NowTV account with my in-laws and it's on there, so I installed the NowTV app on my XB1 and watched it on that.

Yeah, it’s fantastic isn’t it.

I’ve been watching season 2 but waiting a week for a 30 minute show has been killing the pacing for me. I might wait till it’s all out so I can consume it like the first season.

You’re in for a ride though. The second half is brilliant TV!

I finished Season One last night, it just kept getting better.

It's one of those programmes that's so good, that somehow makes brilliance look so effortless, that you almost have to step back from it to appreciate how perfectly crafted it is.

Towards the back end of the season there were several occasions where it did the 'time warp' thing that Breaking Bad did, whereby I became so utterly consumed with what was unfolding onscreen that the credits started rolling and I was like, 'Huh? 15 minutes just passed?'

I'll wait until Season Two is all up on NowTV before making a start on it, as if it's anything like as good as Season One, waiting a week for the next episode will not be a viable option.

The RT scores ain't wrong.

Yeah Barry is one of the best new shows in years. I think there's a strong case for it being the best show since Breaking Bad.

The third season of The Good Fight. Michael Sheen is just chewing up the scenery and having a whale of a time.

That’s on top of a musical interlude about NDAs and Christine Baranski having an argument with a bruise shaped like Donald Trump.

This show is bonkers.

They’re written by the guy who did, amongst other things, the songs for Portal and Portal 2.

Saw the second one last night about Roy Cohn coming to party. :DD

And the theme music is the most dramatic thing you've ever heard or seen.

Not a patch on the first one with Richard Briers, though.

Just caught up enough with ‘Its always sunny in Philadelphia’ that it’s gone from 4:3 to 16:9!

Best episode so far has been ‘Who pooped the bed?’.
