I saw Fatboy Slim at one of the three Glastos I went to. I’m gonna say 2005. He was excellent.

I think I have some Fatboy Slim records (Skint label?) passed on to me when my mate moved to Australia.

Amusingly bad IOM criminal. We don't get much of this sort of thing over here so it's been quite the news splash.

TL:DR - Man tries to rob chemist at knifepoint with the worst disguise ever. Chemist recognises him and says 'stop being stupid Paul'. Paul goes home. Crime foiled.

Called up Sky to unlink my netflix and sky accounts so I can get Netflix in 4k, as I didn't want to spend an extra £12 a month for Sky 4k, plus £200 for the 2TB box, plus £60 install fee.
£5 a month for sky 4k, and £35 for the box and install, that'll do me! They certainly know how to reel in customers...

There's a decent amount of Netflix content in 4K/HDR, and not too shabby an amount in Dolby Vision / Atmos too. It's well worth the extra IMO.

Edit -- although I doubt your TV supports Dolby Vision?

Sorry, wasn't that clear :) the £5 extra a month for sky 4k includes Netflix 4k too. Yeah my TV supports Dolby vision.

Top games on Steam since 2015, I found this pretty interesting to watch. What the hell is Clicker Heroes?

Happy birthday Cras! You share your birthday with World Book Day.

It was great to see all the costumes at my kids school today... Apart from Darth Vader and Buzz Lightyear.

I'd have sent them home.

You know how governments make tobacco companies put photos on the packets to dissuade smokers? Well, Laos has that shit locked in tight.

Who could see Laos Johnny Depp de-stressing after the kids been screaming with a cigarette and not want to start smoking? Man, smoking is cool.

Working from home is dangerous. I've eaten two full packs of biscuits and bought an overlocker from Amazon.

Nice! When Russell bought one for me it arrived pre-threaded, which tickled me.

I still find mine slightly terrifying because of the blades.

It's a bladed cats cradle of death, used to stop edges fraying and hem t-shirts and stuff. It's also great for sewing stretch materials together, as the stitch has a lot of flex in it.

Deal of the day on Amazon, £130 which is pretty good! Comes pre-threaded, which was a big plus point :D

I really wanted one that coverstitches as well, but those are spendy.
Running the overlocker without the blade could look ok I guess, as long as it isn't a contrast thread.

Feels rather pointless when there plenty of Facebook groups doing a similar thing already.

Yeah, I use it and had a similar letter.

When you sign up you can opt to send a letter like this to all your neighbours. There was a thread on my Nextdoor app because someone was complaining that it was a scam as their husband had never signed up to the app even though he was replying to the same thread... That was confusing.

Anyway, I use it but mainly to amuse myself at people getting annoyed at things like the local garage applying to have a car wash on their forecourt. Apparently this will cause extra traffic and noise on a road which I believe, couldn't be any busier or noisier.
