Does anyone buy air freshener for their home, car, shed, sex dungeon?

I’m reppin’ that Frebreeze Spicy Apple. It smells reet nice. I might even use it as a deodorant it’s that nice.

We use Febreeze cappuccino which smells nothing like cappuccino but does an excellent job of masking the smell of my family's turds.

I've got a lot of Chemical Guys car air fresheners that I was given. Most of them are awesome especially the Chuy Bubble variety.

It’s a points based system with fairly achievable scores needed though it does get harder as you age. The exchange rate isn’t very favourable now though, so houses are more expensive than a lot of the UK, relatively speaking.

They have a skills-shortage list, which you might well be on.

Last time I looked, if you invested 700,000 NZD, you were in that way, too.

If I had a job offer in my area of IT I'd exceed the threshold which is nice to know.
It may come to that in March.

Christmas shopping done! Just a bit of wrapping and delivering now.
Plan to be relaxing on Christmas Eve and not running about like I usually do.

My last day of work is Christmas Eve. We all had a few holidays left to take, but I didn't book it off as my colleague on tech support had already booked it. So, I was a little bit annoyed that the other three people in the company have subsequently booked it off as well, meaning I'm the only person in the business working on Monday.

On the plus side though, I've just received a hamper of wine, cheese and other nice stuff from a friend of mine as a thank-you for always being on hand for a bit of tech support. :luv:

We just had Fortnum & Mason hamper delivered to split between our team! I nabbed a bottle of Red and a tin of loose leaf tea.

I'm bringing a longtime childhood friend of mine to Christmas dinner because otherwise he'd be on his own and my mum Absolutely Will Not Have That. He's also stupidly skint as shit so won't be contributing of course (which I'll mitigate by sending much more than usual to the collective fund for Christmas food and related supplies, obv). Aside from that though, she (and my dad and my sister) are setting up an entirely unnecessary present for him of a food hamper which, I imagine will balance essentials with delicious luxuries that he could not ever possibly buy for himself*.

I love my family because you sort of have to. But I genuinely like them as people because they're fucking genuinely awesome.

*Mostly because being on the dole these days officially includes getting tickets to food banks. Did we all know this? Because I certainly fucking didn't! The welfare state is now so fucked into the ground that as well as your actual money you're also officially given tickets for the nearest state approved food bank. Which simultaneously acknowledges that current government policy has driven social security payments down to the point that you can't actually live on them; whilst also somehow setting that same system up as the guardians of who gets to benefit from charity! I genuinely can't think of something more weird, counter intuitive, corrupt and basically just soulless. Fuck. Every. Single. Thing. This. Country. Has. Become.

The depressing thing is that the current government see that kind of thing as examples of the system working, not as evidence that it is irrevocably broken.

That is fabulous, Bamba. But I absolutely did not know that tickets (tickets!) to the food bank were part of the welfare system. I can see myself incorporating that into some furious rage, though. Doubtless it will be calmly patted back by Tory members of the family, as an entirely understandable way of checking that "the right" people get aid from charity.

And then furious rage will be stoked further.

Fairly sure it’s what you get every time you have mash in a chain restaurant. It all comes down to whether they can be arsed whipping it after nuking.

Bought Road Redemption, the remake of Road Rash.
Has loads of great reviews, but all it did for me was to show just how far we have come. Road Rash was one of my favourite games as a kid, but the remake is basically exactly the same... And it's shite...

It didn't do a lot for me either. I replayed Road Rash 2 and Skitchin' recently and they both hold up pretty well.

Do you have to work all day or can you just do a half day?

Technically till 5:30, but given that the one call I was expecting to have today from a client isn't happening till the New Year now, I'm hopefully for a lazy afternoon. :)

Got this cheap in the Steam sale.

Loving it, and very much at the learning phase, exploring where to spend my power goobers and the like.

I cleared the first two corporations then lost all my generators on the third world. Started again forearmed with KNOWLEDGE and still made simple errors that cost me a power cell on the first mission.

Also struggling to identify the best strategy for choosing where to land my units at a mission's opening.

But it's good and makes me wish I had a Switch.

I'm a hell of a fan of cheese, but that's not a 'cheese themed Sunday roast'. It's eating cheese on a Sunday.

I'm a hell of a fan of cheese, but that's not a 'cheese themed Sunday roast'. It's eating cheese on a Sunday.

TBH I didn't know it was a cheese restaurant but I think it must have been fate as the building in question was 'The Creamery,' a grocers, a long time ago. It had been derelict for years and only recently refurbished and opened as a trendy eatery.

Mrs and Miss WH went to try it a few weeks ago but left as soon as they got inside as it smelled strongly of fish.

It's my first day back today after a lengthy Christmas break. One of the first things I had to do was get a logo from someone.

They responded to my email fast enough only, it had a word document with the logo in there. Brilliant start to the day.

That's not necessarily a problem; if they've pasted a high enough quality source image into the doc it's easily extracted. If it's a shit quality image you'd have been fucked regardless of Word being involved.
