It appears to be a ship of some sort.

Or an ice scraper, so handy for these chilly mornings

I had a toy of one of those when I was little. It's a troop transport or something. It made noises and spoke when you pressed buttons and was pretty cool if I remember.

Day 15 and 16 might be delayed until late Sunday. Please try to cope during this difficult time.

I watched the Lego Brickumentary on TV last night, it was a fun watch and I felt super happy for that nerdy awkward guy when he had his design for the Mars Rover selected as one of the special 'Ideas' kits.

It all seemed quite positive and the people involved were clearly having a nice fun time, it was a good Sunday evening bit of telly.

12 bags of fun in there for me and the boy... Once the kids finally behave well enough for a day and we have time to do some after I finish work... So this could take months, given their current form

Both the boys have lovely, thick hair. Meanwhile their sister has fine, thin hair that gets awfully tangled and I'm pretty much bald on top. Bah :(

12 bags of fun, right there. The boy is asking the Magic 8-ball "Who's the idiot now?". He still doesn't quite get how the 8 ball works, and he can't read the responses anyway.

We managed to get one bag done with the kids before bed time, then I snuck another bag through after they'd gone to sleep. I really wanted to do more but I promised the kids we'd be doing it together. Getting the second bag done was important as it connects the two cylindrical pieces up much more securely.

There are some clever building techniques in there.

As part of his research* Mr. flis bought a bracket to mount it on, so it will be 'in flight' fixed to the wall I think.

*He watched YouTube videos of it being built, various mounting and storage videos/instructions, and also somehow managed to keep a massive box hidden from me.
